I was working upstairs when I hear one of our baby leopard geckos start screaming. Normally they only scream when threatened, but this particular guy screams at almost everything. Turns out there was a small fly in his cage that was bothering him.

1. Most homes here have digital door locks so it would be hard, if not impossible, to open the door without it going BEEP BEBEP BEEP SCRCHH on the whole damn household. Same goes for getting back in.

2. Good luck sneaking out the window on the 20-something-th floor.

3. Where would you go? The convenience store? Down that sketchy looking alley full of garbage and one smoking guy in a hoodie? I mean, sneaking out for a snack from 7-11 sounds reasonable but look at no.1 and 2
