"The noir-style storyline is paired with an awesome, shadowy-heavy aesthetic. Not only that but scene framing and camera angles are given a good dose of style to keep things from feeling normal and safe."

Inside the Virtual Actor’s Studio: Gordon Cordray
Gordon Cordray is the top representative for the Church of Us in the state of Florida, a secretive religious organization that boasts high profile celebrity members like actor Tag Kern…while collecting membership dues, of course. Traveling from town to town to spread the prosperity of the Church, he’s frequently seen aboard a luxurious recreational vehicle that boasts the church motto: “Help us help you help yourself.”
Inside the Virtual Actor’s Studio: Monroe
Monroe is the bloodhound always at the side of owner K.C. Gaddis, a private investigator and one of the game’s playable characters. Monroe is a bloodhound that Gaddis adopted as a rescue from a Los Angeles animal shelter. How Monroe ended up at the shelter is an appalling tale to say the least.
Hope and the future for me are not in lawns and cultivated fields, not in towns and cities, but in the impervious and quaking swamps.

“Music is a key part of the experience of playing our theatrical adventure game *Knee Deep*. We partnered with the former Harmonix audio gurus at SkewSound to have them craft a soundtrack that would capture the dilapidated vibe of swampland Florida. We recently published a blog post written by Chris about the composition process, the instruments they sourced and more.”

Former Harmonix composer Chris Wilson details his approach to scoring theatrical adventure Knee Deep in a new post on our blog.
“Next: finding the right instruments. We wanted acoustic recording to capture the sounds we wanted: old, broken-down, forgotten. eBay and Craigslist became our friends as searched for just the right instruments: a resonator guitar, a lap steel, an old Gregory practice amp from the 1950s, a no-name made in Japan drum set from the 1960s with the original creaky hardware, ugly sounding cymbals.”
