All Might paused at the entrance to the building, absent-mindedly staring at the izakaya's logo etched into the glass door. He wasn't sure he was ready for this; for seeing his former sidekick-- and good friend-- after so long.
His mind was busy replaying the events of that day in the hospital. He clenched his fists, trying to shake the thought from his mind. It had been long enough, he reminded himself. Long enough for him to stop being such a coward and face Nighteye. So he reached for the handle and opened the door, taking a deep breath as he walked in.
It took no time, at all, for All Might to find Nighteye. The younger man tended to tower over those around him. All Might took another steadying breath, then walked up and sat on the stool beside him.
"Hey," he said, trying to speak casually despite how strange it all felt. "It's been a while. Thanks for agreeing to meet with me."
