20 - Fell out of love for the first time. Felt like my life was just beginning and over all at once for basically the full year. Started drinking. Broke my own heart.
21 - Drank too much, partied too much, was miserable but wanted everyone to think I was having fun.

22 - Drank so much I regularly blacked out. Thought I would die alone. Graduated college and moved back to my hometown. Felt defeated. Got a secret boyfriend.
23 - Bought a condo, lived in St Louis, made a LOT of mistakes and drank way too much. Work was dull. Yo-yo dieted.Â
24 - Fell in love and fought fucking hard for it. Made a ton of new friends and stopped drinking beyond a buzz. Work got tough - lots of ethical issues that ultimately lead to me getting someone fired. He deserved it though.Â
25 - Travelled to Spain, France, Monaco and Italy. Worked hard and hated my job. The workplace abuse I suffered from had awful repercussions.
26 - Depression - My job was HORRIBLE. I would spend full weekends on the couch eating and watching tv. My boyfriend had to convince me to get out of the house. Gained a ton of weight.Â
27 - Got fired for the first time (and hopefully last). Then started at a new job and got engaged within 12 days. Life 180âČd.Â
28 - Travelled to Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland (and broke my foot in Helsinki). Settled into my new career, friendships deepened. Drink to enjoy the flavors and not the feeling.
29 - Did 52 dates in the year, including my wedding date. Spent quality time with important people. Loved hard. Laughed hard. Stressed hard (wedding planning sucks) and relaxed hard.Â
I did everything this post suggested. Spent time finding myself, traveling, experiencing things and falling in love with men and friends and, eventually, myself.
