Never let a few people dishearten or distract you from your jokes writing. You will find several people that enjoy your skill as a joke writer and praise you. I have seen my writing getting rejected by my boss, but I never let that make my confidence low. It might have been that some others wrote something better or my boss was crazy enough not to like my writing. I immediately forgot the incident and moved on to the next phase of my life. Writing jokes is not at all an easy deal. Neil Hamburger has rightly said-“The jokes should flow out like tears, but you have to keep your mind from distractions. Otherwise, it gets cluttered up, and nothing comes out. It is a painful process. I don’t recommend it.” You have to make people enjoy without getting distracted by their enjoyment.
