Today at about 11am my back/leg started flaring again. About an hour ago it calmed down enough for me to do the work I’ve been trying to all day. That’s over 11 hours of stretching, massaging, heat, ice, tens unit, sitting, laying, standing, and walking just to get my pain under control enough to fill out some timesheets.

So for anyone out there downplaying the impact of disabilities on your day-to-day life, try this: Set up an alarm that goes off randomly and without warning. It may or may not go off any given day. When it does, you have to spend the next 12 hours rotating attempts at pain relief every 15 minutes. See how much you’re able to get done.

Sadly not feeling great tonight, been shaking so bad I can’t even comfortably sit up to play some games. Here’s to hoping tomorrow will be better. Just to prove to my friends I’m taking it easy!! Here We Go Again

My old blog, travelererrant.tumblr.com, is being abandoned. I’m in desperate need of a fresh start, and I want to start using this website for actual social activity. I want to feel like I’m interacting with people again, and start edging my way out of my shell and start talking to people.

Generic concept - I’m drawing aj once a day through oct in whatever outfit I was wearing that day. /shrug practicing the mindset “done” not “perfect”. Plus you see how very little my wardrobe consists of. lol
