I had my picture taken before and after I finished my last painting. My, how time flies when you don't have a fly swatter.
THIS IS MY ORIGINAL WORK WITH MUSIC BY TOM LEHR. LOS ANGELES
I do not paint like normal people.™
It's hard to believe. But, after graduating from UCSanta Barbara in '76, I thought California had been destroyed by over population and moved to St. Simons Island, Georgia. I found a job at the one gas station. Some very rich people from adjacent Sea Island flew me to another state for evaluation under the auspices of an illustrious team of Harvard Phd's. This, I suspected, to see if I was crazy or just unusually bright, with simply an over abundance of not caring what other people thought.
Once illuminated by the results of all this testing, they immediately hired me to be trained as an executive with the #1 luxury resort in the western hemisphere, as rated by Triple A.
Later, I went into the exciting and glamorous field of advertising, emboldened by the knowledge I was not crazy, just incredibly weird. It all started here. I often wish I'd never left.

My happy, younger period. I felt fairly certain flamethrowers were exactly what I needed. They gave my paintings that “Where-did-they-go?” look. It seemed like a good idea and it was.
I paint so you don’t have to,
