This is Julieka Dhu. She died on August 4 2014 after complaining of feeling unwell while being held in custody at the South Hedland Police Station. She should be celebrating her 23rd birthday today. 

We won’t stop fighting for you. We won’t stop fighting for an end to Black deaths in custody. You did not deserve to be in police custody because you owed $1,000 in unpaid fines. You did not deserve to die. Your name and your story will be remembered.
