Cristina and Cyla painted a wall in Bushwick, Brooklyn, as a tribute to the great poet Paulo Leminski who would be 70 years old in August 2014. At Strand Books in NYC on June 26, 2014, Ellen Lupton and her students from MICA spoke about the book they wrote, Type on Screen: A Critical Guide for Designers, Writers, Developers, and Students, available now from Princeton Architectural Press.

Ellen Lupton is curator of contemporary design at Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum in New York City and director of the Graphic Design MFA program at Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) in Baltimore. An author of numerous books and articles on design, she is a public-minded critic, frequent lecturer, and an AIGA Gold Medalist.
