Just saw a meme that said your childhood wasn't lit unless you almost drowned at least once... i can remember learning to swim, i can remember my dad throwing me into the pool and watched me sputter and almost die. I remember thinking wow, so this is how it is... this is one of the reasons i have trust issues. This is one of the reasons i let him sink into his own hell and care not if i have a branch to save him. I trust nothing.

In the end, love is a lie. They use you until you aren't so useful, then they beat you down until you lose your mind... they ride you until you fall apart and no one cares about the shattered pieces. Even those who do love us, are doing so for their own gains and benefits. Love is a lie, no one really loves anything beyond their false perceptions.
