Pueblo County shows its independent spirit in its libraries. With an already impressive library system with branches all around Pueblo County, there will soon be three more libraries in places that are not already close to other libraries. Shown here is the astounding Rawlings Library!
Dutch Clark was a football player and coach who got his start in Pueblo County at Central High School. Today the Dutch Clark Stadium is named after him and hosts the oldest high school football rivalry west of the Mississippi!
Solar Roast coffee started as a project to roast coffee in a new way: with the sun! Michael and David Hartkop stared with a small roaster in Oregon in 2004, but soon opened shop in Pueblo in 2007. In 2010, Pueblo saw how ambitious these two were and PEDCO gave them a grant to create the roaster they use today: the Helios 5.
Spirit of Pueblo County - Pueblo Chieftain
The Pueblo Chieftain had been reporting on Pueblo County news and news from around the world for almost 150 years! Through all of that time, the Chieftain has stayed independent, not merging or becoming a different paper.
Gagliano's has been serving amazing Italian cuisine for 92 years! It demonstrates how the spirit of Pueblo keeps things they like so future generations can enjoy them!

Festivals in Pueblo County
People of Pueblo County love festivals! Festivals happen all year round and such festivals as the B Street Bash, the Chile and Frijoles Festival, and Wild West Fest are just a few that bring energy to the community.
People from all around the state come to Pueblo County every year for the Colorado State Fair! It starts August 22, so make sure to be there!
One of the things that people in Pueblo County get the most excited about is cars, street rods to be exact! In some shows, over 2,000 cars are displayed and compete!
Pueblo Vitality - Football
One of the things that brings the most energy to Pueblo is football. Out of the entire season, the Cannon Game and the Bell Game are the largest and have been going on for years. The Bell Game is a tradition over 100 years old!
