Long time not being in yugioh fandom. This blog started with yugioh content and dragon drawings from that show. Now, after more than 10years I started rewatching 5Ds . I was cleaning my room and found my cards and the shyncros I had and had good memories of that show.

The shipping appeared and remember shipping them hard but, at that time, I wasn’t able to draw human anatomy :,) . Now I got the chance to do something!!

I casually wrote 13% of a Yu-Gi-Oh novel today. Guess the muse finally struck me again to return to fanfic writing after pretty much not doing it (besides short little nothings.)

Okay so real talk time. As an asexual person married to another person on the ace spectrum, why do I find it so hard to write ace characters? I think it's because I'm afraid I'm going to try to perfect their ace-ness. Like I am so worried about making them ace in the right way that I can't make them relatably flawed. YGO IFP

The YuGiOh Interactive Fiction Project has begun! Use the tag YGO IFP on my Tumblr to keep track of the progress as I work on it.

Here's some details:

Built using Twine 2.3.5 with lots of customization being made to it.

Currently limited to three story paths in the first story, more will be added!

These are based on water, fire, wind strategies commonly found in the early part of the series.

Currently I have no plans of hosting it online but will release it and updates in a downloadable format. Since it's just a webpage it will be completely platform independent. You just need a web browser.

This early stage version is low-graphics because I suck at any kind of art lol

Future updates planned will incorporate a inventory and when I get around to doing it, a simple dueling system made using JavaScript/HTML5

Will use Speed Duel format

First story is a duel link/battle city-esque tournament

I think that's all for now? I'll release it when the first three adventure paths are done. It will be a few weeks yet before I'm able to get that far lol.

I'm working on a YuGiOh! interactive fiction story. Possibly two of them by the time spring hits here in Michigan. They're eventually going to have inventory and rpg elements in a future update. I'll let you know when the public testing stage is available.
