A lone figure tossed and turned around in the tiny quarters. Nightmares plagued his sleeping times and the uncertainty of their reality kept eating him away.
A flash of brunette heir, a warm smile, an obnoxious laugh that somehow he found charming, so much noise that seemed comforting. Tiny pieces that somehow felt different from the rest. A sobbing and frail figure, tears staining cloth, blood decorating spaces. His nightmares consisted of a mix both, the sense of security that surrounded the first only enhancing the terror from the second. He felt weak in the knees afterwards, unsure of what to make of those blurry scenes once he woke up.
He did not feel incomplete, but he also did not feel whole. What was it that he was missing? He could not remember.
