Beyond Love｜愛之外
This symbol began with a single letter.
The letter L from LOVE slowly merged with the shape of a heart, until it became a symbol of its own.
As I continued drawing, another image quietly appeared.
Two profiles facing one another.
One is the self I show to the world.
The other is the self that quietly lives within me— the truest part of who I am.
Between them, love is no longer just a feeling.
It becomes a meeting.
A recognition.
A conversation without words.
And then, there is YOU.
Not as part of the drawing, but as the space that completes it.
Because every symbol is only half of the story.
The other half begins when someone else sees themselves within it.
Perhaps love is not something we search for.
Perhaps it begins the moment we truly see ourselves—
and choose to see one another.
Love is not losing yourself in someone else.
It is meeting another soul without leaving your own.

Embrace｜擁抱
This symbol began with a heart.
Not as a symbol of romance, but as a place where acceptance begins.
As the lines unfolded, I saw two selves emerging.
One carries quiet tears. The other reaches out with gentle presence.
They are not separate people.
They are two moments of the same self.
One still carries the weight of pain. The other has learned not to turn away.
Together, they form a heart.
In this series, I softened each symbol with a transparent layer.
To me, it represents the quiet distance between what is visible and what remains within.
Some parts of us are clear. Some remain hidden.
Yet both belong to who we are.
Perhaps healing is not becoming someone new.
Perhaps it begins when the self that hurts is finally met by the self that chooses to stay.
Acceptance does not erase our wounds.
It teaches us how to hold them with kindness.

Listening｜傾聽
This symbol began without intention.
It was never planned to become an ear, a face, or a story. It simply appeared while I was testing a brush.
I left it untouched.
The more I looked at it, the more it seemed to reveal something that had always been there.
I began to notice an outer face and another face resting quietly within. One seemed to hold the other, as if the visible self were gently protecting a quieter, truer self beneath.
The small circle at its center became an eye. Not an eye searching outward, but one that remained clear—like an inner child, or a self that had existed long before fear, expectation, or identity.
In that moment, I realized something.
Perhaps listening is not only about hearing.
Perhaps it is the quiet conversation between the self that speaks and the self that has been listening all along.
Every symbol begins before it has a meaning.
Sometimes, meaning appears only after we are willing to stay with it.
Listening is not hearing the world.
It is hearing what has never stopped speaking within you.
