I just watched the Wicked Wonderland trailer and I only have 1 thing to say

Ella going "What have you done?"

Now I am well aware this clip could be taken out of context and she's referring to something completely different BUT

Is Chloe and Red actually going to tell an adult about what happened?

Will Wicked Wonderland be the first Descendants movie where an adult actually does something useful?

Now I am well aware that the reason adults in children's media are often shoved aside is because the kids needs to take center stage since- again it's for kids

But I feel like they can still have the adults act responsibly and just have the kids sneak off so we only see the actions the adults take in the backround

Maybe- sending out guards, issuing a statement about the danger Maddox poses stuff like that

Like we see Bridgette screaming after Maddox, seemingly to send guards or something after him...

Descendants adults have long either been incompetent fools, evil, or somewhere in between so it would be a nice change of pace to have the adults in Wicked Wonderland using their brains for once

Need help finding Descendants book material

So while talking with a friend they revealed to me that Adam cannonically likes mint-swirls cookies and snack cakes in the Descendants books- but they couldn't find the official pages that confirms this

And I love small details like this, as do they- so if anyone can find those it would be greatly appreciated :3

Might be throwing myself in the line of fire here but I feel like I need to say something

I've noticed some posts floating around here where people are straight up saying Audrey sexually assaulted Ben?!

First off- you need to be very careful when throwing around words like that because that is some serious shit to accuse people off

Second, Ben is only shown to be uncomfortable around Audrey TWO times and none of those times has to do with her touching him.

Meeting the Vks in D1, Audrey grabs him slightly as a signal to- mostly Evie as she's the one "interested" in Ben first. Here- while Ben does seem uncomfortable it's NOT Because Audrey is touching him. It's because even the most dense of people can sense the awkward tension between Evie and Audrey. Also Ben is NOT the one who pulls away from Audrey's touch, between scenes you can even see how he's holding her hand in BOTH of his. FG Is the one who pulls their hands apart in that scene and after that it is very clear that the reason Ben is uncomfortable is because of Audrey and Mal beefing, NOT because Audrey is touching him, he even laughs awkwardly when Audrey and Mal are snappy with each other- I think that's a clear indicator to what is making him uncomfortable

When she was possessed in D3. See that word people? POSSESSED! Also- Ben's FIRST instinct when he sees Audrey like that is to TRY AND HELP HER. Bare in mind everyone, HE ASKED HER OUT FIRST Confirmed

I'll say it before and I'll say it again, the way some people go out of their way to make Audrey seem like some irredeemable monster is just- straight up wrong

She is a TEENAGER and in D1 she is a CHILD

Yes I know by D3 she has probably had time to turn 18 but you can't put an 18 year old to the same standard as a person in- let's say their twenties

Do I still think she did a lot of things wrong? Yes

Do I think she should've gone to therapy instead of letting her anger and bitterness fester like this? Also yes

But please, stop villainizing children

This is just you not giving a damn that Ben is a guy and Audrey is a girl. Because people like you will scream when it happens to a girl. So I'll make it easier for your tiny brain to imagine: male Audrey touches female Ben's face and chest, offering her to be his Queen and if she doesn't listen, her people are doomed.

D1 - I can accept your interpretation that maybe Ben was not uncomfortable with Audrey's touch but D3 is just you not caring. Yes, Audrey was under a spell. So was Ben when he dumped her - so why is he criticised for his actions under a spell when he did not physically harm her while Audrey's allowed to sexually harass and threaten his kingdom if he does not comply? If its so ok, then why are you so against Gaston doing the same to Belle in Beauty and the Beast? Why is it ok for it to happen to Ben but not Belle?

Please point to wherever in this post or anywhere else I have ever said that I don’t care about Ben, you don’t get to assume what people think about characters in the fandom based on one post!

But if we’re going to talk about Ben and his well-being and what other CHILDREN his age have done

Mal and Uma have both taken away his ability to consent to things, Mal tried to ERASE his memories in D2 when he caught her lying

Do I hate either Mal or Uma for doing these things? NO! Because- I don’t know how many times I have to repeat myself THEY ARE CHILDREN

And literally nothing too bad (that we know of) happens while Ben is spelled (well except him dumping Audrey and almost bringing down the barrier in D2-)

And you need to look into why people critique Ben in regards to Audrey

It’s not about how he broke up with Audrey- it’s the fact that he never talked with her AFTER the spell broke

Now it’s apparently been confirmed that the reason he didn’t was because- he thought she was fine since she started “dating” Chad right after

In my opinion? Still stupid but those are the kind of actions I can chalk up to “he’s a teenage boy without a fully developed brain”

…. *bonks Belle and Adam, and anyone else who signed off in making a teenager king on the head*

And I will repeat again (honestly idk why you brought up Belle and Gaston into this-)

Never EVER in the movie is Gaston spelled or showed to be going through something that would compromise his free-will

He wants Belle because he wants a trophy

He’s a hunter and shes the prey, I think it’s very obvious why that’s a messed up way to view someone else

Audrey would’ve been like Gaston if she locked Ben up after he said no (which- I still wouldn’t have blamed her fully for because SHE WAS SPELLED)

She turns him into a beats (and I mean yeah messed up considering she knew how much that would hurt him but again- SPELLED)

And while his mind is compromised from being a beast it is clear that Audrey did not do anything to be able to control him in this scene

…. Also being in the descendants fandom and having “protector against pride” in your bio is laughable atp I’m sorry- this is one of the queerest fandoms out there

So luckily Hook and Morgie got together rather quickly

So despite my depressive episode I've been going through I have been happily playing the new game since it came out and a LOT as happened!

The first three Miis I added where Adam, Hades and Belle

And once they where freed from the lobotomy in the demo Adam fell for Belle rather quickly

.... And then he got a crush on Morgie that I shot down because- for me Morgie is too young for him

Then I added James and he and Morgie started talking dirty before they even got together

And for anyone wondering, James fell first

Okay so I did want to give him more penguins than just Empoleon but that penguin with an ice cub for head- just no!
