I’ve been thinking of a BG3 Sharplow/Deathtrap au, but my friend who I talk to about BG3 doesn’t understand Sharplow and my friend who I talk to about Sharplow has never played BG3 so therefore I will be head cannoning this au here. (The animation is being worked on i swear)

Completely based on the game lore cause I’ve never played DnD nor have extensive knowledge on its lore <- dont have enough friends that are interested enough to do a campaign 🥲, will be taking liberties with classes and races tho

I think the Dark Urge origin would fit Sharp’s character, being the child of the Bhaal aka the God of Murder or ‘avatar’ I guess depending on how you see it :p. Violent urges every once in a while, originally planning world domination, or genocide, before getting shanked by his “sister” Orin and ending up with amnesia. So his backstory would be the exact same as Durge

If Sharp is Durge, and therefore the story is through his POV, Jude would be one of the companion characters Sharp picks up or he’ll be the equivalent of a second player in the game, where you both come out of a pod on the nautiloid in the same starting area. I’d say Sharp would encounter him while trying to escape the Nautiloid similar to how the player meets Shadowheart at the start.

In terms of classes and race, I’d headcanon Sharp to be a Vengeance Paladin or like just a Fighter <- bonk people over head with big sword. He would probably be a regular human, or like maybe half Dragonborn to make him more similar to og Durge

Jude I have no clue, but I’m thinking just a regular human but half mechanical, could also be a shifter if I wanna make him more animalistic. In terms of class I’m gonna go with Artificer for obvious reasons <- also goes along with the backstory I have for him

(Sharp/Jude character study? Kinda? Specifically their Strength personas. Its 2am and I want to ramble)

This is mostly just for their body-types/builds, not that I think mine for both of them are particularly interesting, and regardless of my opinions/headcanons, I think everyone’s designs for them are amazing/great in their own ways.

I’ll start with Sharp, the designs I see for him vary from feminine/elegant to masculine/heavy, obviously the thought process going into his design stems from his skin being Alter Saber, while the other part is his whole swords master shebang. Personally I like sitting somewhere in the middle but leaning towards elegant for a few reasons. Watching him pvp, he’s very combo favoured, he wants to put you into a combo and take minimal damage, he wants to quick drop you. He’s inherently impatient, and he’ll go for aggressive plays which a lot of the time leads to him flipping his duels. Not saying that he’s not good in longer-drawn out fights, but it’s obvious his preference is shorter-form fights. So I think his build should reflect that, leaner, still built obviously, but more suited for quick-ins and clean strikes. So, again, leaning towards elegance rather than heavy strikes.

For Jude, a big part of his combat style is running away yea, but he’s also baiting, and tanking hits from opponents, often for quite a while depending on how far the next trap is, or how long it takes to get his opponents into the right spot before eventually trapping them. So personally I think he should be a bit bigger?, more tanky, he wants to survive, to not get quick dropped when jumped, and long enough to get you in the right position, with a body that’ll be able to hold a shield steady when taking heavy hits. You can argue that being a robot already does that, so his body type doesn’t really matter and therefore he can be as small as he wants to be. Which yes, I’m not gonna argue against that because again, everyone has their own opinions, but I like conveying story through design so, to me, Jude’s bigger than Sharp :p

Idrc about heights because I make them the same(idrc about the “canon” because I’m making designs for their characters, not their irls lol and Minecraft people are all the same height ), tho I do think Jude would make himself taller just to spite people haha.
