The underworld - or Down Under. More info under the cut.

It's located underneath the city hidden within a labyrinth of tunnels and whatnot. It's almost impossible to fine unless you've been given directions, or you're following someone. The people that reside here are traders and bandits - it's like a black market hub of activity. This is where no one has an identity - predators and prey aren't enemies in Down Under - they're just people. 

The government's been trying to smoke out and obliterate Down Under since they knew of their existence - they trade government secrets and all sorts of nasties down there. It's like a little hub of conspiracies where a lot are actually true and the government doesn't want those little secrets to surface so they're constantly sending troupes down into the tunnels under the city to try and find it - they never succeed, though.

This is a popular meeting place also for drug barons and underworld lords - because you basically shed your identity when you walk in, the business is usually fair and the barons and lords feel safe in there. The air is full of smoke - there are master craftsmen down here like welders and mechanics and whatnot and they're incredibly good at their jobs. You bring them a gadget and they'll fix it right up and make a duplicate. The people down here are also on the Predators and Prey's side - they'll support both sides when a confrontation occurs against the government. They also really want to get their paws on the Hunter technology - everyone in Down Under would kill to get a chance to study their weaponry and tech. 

But basically to cut things short it's a mini community down here full of shady people with loads of secrets and this is where Duke does most of his dealings and it's really dark there's no sunlight so it's all lit up with the glowy stuff.

Oh and it's always got drops of water coming in through the drains

The initial ideas pppbtjtjththt

·         New Melbourne – set in the near future – not much has changed – new fancier shopfronts and streets, more soft illumination and whatnot

·         Bustling streets – gotta be tons more people in Melbourne than there is now this city is growing

·         Entire government set up in a hierarchy – mayor first, his cabinet comes after, their ministers after that, etc. etc.

·         You’d think that the preds and prey would have to get their inside information somehow – I may have come up with a character for that specific dealio – he’s named Duke (this is subject to change it just sounded cool at the time) and he’s basically a high ranking minister within the government – he knows all the secrets and sells them to the predators and the prey for a high price – neither team is aware the other one is getting the same info. Duke’s kind of a major douche ok he’s just suave and smooth as fuck and he can sweet talk his way out of any situation ever but even though he’s working for the government he’s really shady and has his own secrets and whatnot. Has come to the aid of certain predators and prey in times of need and then leaves without another word – kind of like a guardian angel that’s only on duty like never.

·         Also! With a monstrous gang war that’s going on like this you’d probably need smaller gangs and a huge underworld system, right? Which got me thinking – what if there was this huuuuge underworld going on – called like Down Under or Downworld or something weird and it’s set up within the sewerage system under the city?? So you’d have to travel down all these twisting tunnels and whatnot until you reach this really big open space that’s like abandoned but it’s this big hub of underworld activity swapping secrets and weapons and all that kind of stuff ALSO there would be no “labels” like if you walked in and you were a Pred and you saw a Prey you wouldn’t do anything it’s like as soon as you walk in there you’re just nobody and it’s really civil like you’d acknowledge the other for being there and kind of look at each other like as soon as we’re done here I’m beating the shit out of you when we leave ok and the other dude’s like ok but yeah with a huge gang war you’d really need back up in the form of an underground wouldn’t you?

·         Like all this gives us so many opportunites to design and create boss type people to help fuck shit up with the government like all these factions would kind of work together and aid each other in their plight for control and whatnot and

·         The government would want to smoke out the underworld initiative and constantly send in police and whatnot down into the depths to try and find it but they never can it’s like a labyrinth down there you’d need special directions to get there but the underworld would be all FRICK YOU NERDS and just much around and try to do as much as possible like?? We actually have a p big underworld thing going on and we had this big gang war a few years ago like people would get shot to death on their front lawn and there were drug barons and all that kind of stuff but I thin kI have the main ideas I had down here like I said before this is all subject to change if you don’t like it we can scrap it straight away but I just wanted to put it to you uwu
