We received this email: 

Chris Dayagdag, CEO of Philippines Web Designing, uses your organisation in his signature block to indicate that he can be trusted because of his membership with your organisation.

Since we have no proof of this, we have only been able to reach out to him and request that he refrain from doing this in the future.

We also noticed our logo is on the homepage of PhilippinesWebDesigning.com under a heading “Recognitions and Memberships”, and the name of our organization was placed in both the About sections, both website and Facebook page.

To these he replied:

I don’t have bad intentions and I am proud to promote PWDO and uplift the Web Design standards in the country. But thank you and I appreciate for informing me about this and I will remove all trace about PWDO.

Creative Developer

Position Title: Creative Developer (Urgent) Reports to: Team Leaders / Project Manager

Description:

As one of several Creative designers within the team, you will be undergoing Rich Media Development training using Adobe Flash and ActionScript. You will also train using Photoshop, After Effects and other digital products for our client (or others, depending on Services needs). You will contribute in reaching and improving team standards and metrics.

Responsibilities:

• Receives tasks from Team Leads and other designated point persons and develops assigned projects for clients.

• Develops and produces advertising materials for assigned client projects, such as:

o Designs/Layouts

o Flash Implementation (converting design mocks to flash)

o Flash Animation

o Video/Motif/Studio Integration (optional)

o Innovations (optional, requires extensive AS or animation)

o Preferably knows AS3

o Preferable knows After Effects

• Monitors own delivery status and slack time and takes measures to ensure productivity

• Learns any new production design, development methodologies and trade tools and applies in production

Web Developer(s) wanted

I'm looking to hire a web developer/programmer (or two) for a small personal project that I'm bootstrapping. This is a freelance offsite job, but applicants must be willing to meet maybe once a week for progress and project updates. I need somebody with the following skills: - strong HTML5 know-how particularly canvas - good with jquery and JS in general - deep knowledge of PHP and MySQL - having worked with Paypal API is a big plus

These are probably not must-haves for this project but if you know RoR, Node JS, Angular, NoSQL (Mongo, Riak, Couch, Redis), I would love to hear your take on using these for the project. I am a developer myself and fairly familiar with these newer tools, but my knowledge is admittedly very limited.

Details of the project will be provided to qualified applicants. To get a general idea, the requirement is to develop an authoring platform similar to canva.com or readymag.com. Will need FB and Google sign-on. And will likely need to integrate with Paypal for "pro" accounts.
