Simply asking me to leave would suffice.” She took the new glass between her fingers and poured it down her throat with one swift movement. Moira sighed as she watched the hand tick down for a few seconds longer before closing it with a loud clack.
“My work can be rather droll to others and should be quite easy to guess from my appearance. But I’ll humor you for a moment. I am a seamstress and tailor by trade, dabbling in alchemy when not doing the other two. He said that if I dare be late that I could consider my head a trophy. Jokes on him though, I don’t need my head to live.” Another chortle of amusement rumbled in her throat at the admittance.

the mention of an assassination attempt strikes a chord of annoyance as well as embarrassment, his face turning a soft shade of cyan. the color dusts itself across his cheeks like a pseudo blush && he frowns.

the bartender takes the empty shot glass from her, tipping the bottle of whiskey && once again filling it with the amber liquid. he places it down in front of his new patron, responding with a HUFF at her slightly morbid mention of surviving without her HEAD. humor wasn’t his strong suit.
mentions about her occupation, however, does seem to draw enough interest that he tries to strike up conversation. one could say that he was a bit nosy, but that ONE would also happen to get horribly INJURED had they said it to his face. clawed digits tap gently against the side of a glass, recording && storing this information for LATER USE. ( though for what use, he was not yet certain )

he looks at the child with curiosity twinkling in his eyes, holding the parchment in his hands with his brows furrowed. what was this ? a note ? couldn’t they simply OUTWARDLY convey their wishes through speech instead of going through such TROUBLE for something so POINTLESS ? he couldn’t make any sense of it.
despite this, he decides to humor them, opening up the page && gazing upon the writing in all of its messy && misspelled glory. merely the SIGHT of the damned thing brings a tiny smile to his face && grillby berates himself for being so weak. he couldn’t help it. nearly everyone he EVER encountered filled him with such ANIMOSITY, yet frisk was an exception. what a peculiar child.
fiery white eyes scan along the paper’s surface, the pace of his reading slowing down as he reaches the bottom. his eyes widen, BLINKING in ABJECT confusion. his gaze travels, first from the note, to frisk, note, frisk, note, frisk, note, frisk.
a smile inches its way across his face && the elemental SIGHS, crouching down to the young human’s height && placing a gentle hand on their head. if someone didn’t know him any better, they might have assumed that he was TEARFUL. but, of course, that would be preposterous.
