Revisiting my little kobold glamour bard. ✨

Getting a handle on my Rook. Made her a Grey Warden warrior (as it felt aesthetically closest to the BG3 cleric I ported her over from). She's best buds with fellow warden Davrin, and besotted with the Nevarran necromancer. 💚

I'm currently replaying her as a Mourn Watcher to unlock all of the additional Emmrich dialog. Super cute seeing the two of them nerd out together! Although I still like the non-compatriot romance better - I love Rook's navigating of Nevarran eccentricities, and I think a big part of her attraction to him is the manner in which he contradicts every assumption she'd had about necromancers. (And narratively, it just feels right for Emmrich to find the true love he thought he'd never have only when he finally breaks from his familiar circles and seeks out adventure in the wider world.)

Finished Veilguard! Bravo to Emmrich's writers - his romance was so sweet and beautiful and human and it's an absolute crime that he's the least romanced companion. Protect this precious man and his skeleton son at all costs.💙

My regular gaming group is taking a break from our ongoing Stars Without Number game for a short Shadow of the Weird Wizard campaign. I rolled an astrologer-mage named Agatha, a sweet little old lady with a lax sense of morality who lives in the woods and dabbles in eldritch magic.

I've been digging into the process of standing up a personal Mastodon instance (or more likely, some other flavour of Fedi like Akkoma or Misskey). Not up and running yet, but I did design myself a little mascot for the server, which is obviously the most important step.
