fuck spotify for making all of my daily mixes shuffled
i’m so fucking mad about men who think women are all posers and can’t enjoy the music they do. rock and metal isn’t some fucking exclusive boys’ club. i hate all of you, go fuck yourselves. also hot take there’s nothing wrong with only knowing a bands most popular songs (or no songs at all) and instead of looking down on them maybe recommend something to them??? just a thought.
i love my playlist sometimes
if any other girl/woman/femme is feeling upset by the lack of women in rock - RIOT GRRRL IS YOUR FRIEND! (also grunge) seriously watching them play is super inspiring.
the fact that chumbawumba were an anarcho-punk band before releasing tubthumping is so funny to me idk why
how do you get into noise music :’( i tried a small few tracks but it just made me anxious
i like to pretend my music taste is so obscure and people wouldn’t know it, and then go and listen to people literally in spotify’s top 500
has anyone found out why listening to metal has a sort of calming effect? (at least for me?) not a huge metal fan but something about just heavy/aggressive music in general makes me feel so much better after i’ve been wound up :)
the fact that muse made a dubstep song (unsustainable) WITHOUT synths is a huge flex. no they didn’t sell out, this is cool and i don’t care what you say
WHAT
my mum asked me what i was stomping around for late at night and i didn’t have the heart to tell her i was singing freak on a leash to myself and ironically whipping and nae naeing
i get legitimately offended when people say faith no more and rage against the machine were one hit wonders even though they’re technically correct. like we’re not on the calling level shit here. these guys are VALUABLE AND INFLUENTIAL AND AAAAAA
one of my many flaws: i get stuck listening to 1 song over and over again for like 3 days and i have to leave it for it to start sounding really REALLY good again
constantly stuck between hating the shitty spotify ads but being too cheap to pay for premium
PEOPLE WHO MAKE THOSE “X but everytime Y happens it Zs” VIDEOSS PERFORM A MORE VALUABLE SERVICE TO SOCIETY THAN BILLIONAIRES EVER HAVE
over dramatically lip syncing to megadeth’s sweating bullets is underrated lol
