Sometimes I lay in my siblings empty, quiet room and wish that I still had a brother in there, one that was actually there, someone I could look up to and not have to worry about all the time. Someone who would worry about me and be overprotective of me, not one that I have to protect myself from. I wish I had a brother that made me laugh instead of cry, maybe one that I would go out and do things with, even though we claim to not like each other. A brother is someone you should be able to look up to, I haven’t found mine. I don’t know if I’ll ever find that in him, but I hope he finds himself… Cherish your brother/sister, appreciate them if you’ve had them to guide you along as you grow up. Love them even more when they make it the hardest thing to do. Love them even when they say they don’t love you.
