Arrow 612 "All for Nothing" Thoughts

The title of the episode fits my sentiments. Both the plot and subplot were forgettable. I don’t have much to say, but let’s pick at the story line. The Arrow writers have made the team divide ineffective by having them work together each episode since the split. Thank you, Germery @olivergifs. I paraphrased her tweet here (x)

Careless

The writing choices in this episode were just that. I’m the panda in the GIF, by the way.

I could care less about Vincent and Dinah’s romantic relationship.

I’m not mourning Vigilante. Though I understand it to propel Dinah’s 6B story line, which stupidly puts her right back at square one. I actually support her vendetta to take out BS for different reasons.

The bomb plot was vanilla and cliche.

Changes

Speaking as a writer, Vigilante as a former flame was so anticlimactic. Arrow fans had better theories.

I almost wish Arrow only had 18-20 episodes to weed out the stale bread of episodes.

PTSD isn’t a joke.

Nix the ungrateful attitudes from the recruits please

If you want to have flashbacks, which don’t foreshadow death with the subtlety of a freight train, focus on the main villain or hero. We still don’t know enough about Owen.

Where’s my Oliver shirtless scene and Olicity morning after? Or how ‘bout literally sex on the table? By the way, Felicity was about to sit on her husband’s lap before they got interrupted again. It’d pique my interest.

This was the only memorable moment from the episode to me.

I liked aspects of the show couldn’t care less that Vigilante died but the way he died yikes and then they have Dinah trapped under concrete and they just you know leave her really villains really? I am sick to death with Curtis and Rene and they need to stop working with them period or they are going to get nowhere fast. I would of given it a C+ Alena Felicity and Oliver were pluses. Liked Oliver in the SCPD jacket Argus scene was good maybe a little over the top but you would think now Lyla would of come to the bunker.
