I just want queer people to know that we are here by US using "their flag"
RADQUEERS WE NEED TO RECLAIM THE 1978 RAINBOW/LGBT FLAG!!!
Today there are millions of queer related flags. Most commonly, the 2018 "Progressive Pride Flag" that was made by Daniel Quasar.
Don't get me wrong; the idea behind the flag is beautiful and makes an impact. This flag includes people of color and transgender communities. But why was this even a problem in the first place, and why do we have to keep adding to it?
As many know, when the queer movement started, it was only white gay men and white lesbian women. Anyone slightly different would be ostracised. As a radqueer, we go past this. We are a community of all colors, all orientations, all paraphilias/kinks, all ideologies, all ANYTHING!
RadQueer is LGBT/queer, TransID is LGBT/queer. Queer is anything that isn't the norm. RadQueer is the ultimate definition. It's also a solution to all those damn letters! /lh /j
I propose we take back the 1978 rainbow flag made by Gilbert Baker.
Here is what the colors stand for.
This encompasses everything. We will not need to add anything new because this is our foundation. This is what started it all. This flag would also encompass people who are neurodivergent or struggling with mental health. We have to unite as one.
We need to be kink and paraphilia friendly. That is what the queer movement started on.

Now, some may ask, "Why"? Why can't we just keep the progressive flags, I mean progressive is what radqueers are, no?
We can not fit everything onto a flag. Let me show you an example of something that you may have seen recently.
There are infinate identites, we can not place it all in one flag.

I really want the LGBT community to accept radqueers as their own. I mean the queer community used to not accept ace people, transgender people, and others. Why would they stop at RadQueers?

Prefacing by saying this is not meant to be rude, we just type very bluntly. This is simply informational, and we are not mad.
This is not what reclaiming is. Reclaiming something (such as a slur) is to use something that has historically and constantly used as a tool for or source of oppression. The rainbow flag has not been used consistently as a tool for oppression of anyone including radqueers. There is nothing here to reclaim. This is a flag for anyone who is queer, and there have never been restrictions on who can or cannot use it.
Also, the history discussed here is entirely false. The queer movement was absolutely not initially just cisgender white queers.
One of (if not the) the biggest faces of the early pride movement and Stonewall as a whole is Marsha P. Johnson, a black transgender woman (She identified as a drag queen and transvestite, as transgender wasn't a term used very often). She was murdered for her identity.
Stonewall is credited to have started when StormΓ© DeLarverie, a biracial butch lesbian (who was also most likely non-binary, although that term also wasn't used at the time) was assaulted by cops.
It's absolutely erasure and untrue to say that the early queer movement was all cisgender and white. The queer rights movement as we know it started as a reaction to police violence against transgender or otherwise genderqueer gay POC. This history is already in danger; spreading misinformation about it does nothing but indirectly help those who want to erase queer history as a whole.
Good points. I will say though in the queer community poc were ostracized. It still happens today. I was also using this as an example towards the progressive flag with it having the brown and black stripes.
Also I use the term reclaiming as the LGBT community has pushed us out and I find the term reclaiming very fair and bold. Hope this helps.

radical queerness is everywhere. there are people who have confusing feelings about their race, age, abilities, WHATEVER else, and don't have a word for it. They will find it. there are paraphiles who are familiar with their attractions but don't know where to go, or what to do about it. They will know. they probably feel like freaks right now, though. as more and more people discover what radqueer is and what it means, the antis will fade out. you cannot stifle the expressions, the realness and the happiness of so many people. ππ

Advice for transplural folks!:
1. Affirm everyday that you are a system! your subconscious loves repetition although you need to give your subconscious proof that you're a system, we'll get you through this!
2. create a headspace imagine a world you may feel comfortable, this may be a bit hard but trust me, frequent visit may immerse the headspace!
3. practice dissociation! you may need to practice derealization and/or depersonalization you can use this tumblr advice!
4. create a headmate!! to do this you can use this document might help! although if you have trouble in creating a headmate where you don't have inspiration, look up BAH Blogs on tumblr!
5. Switching you have to pretend and imagine different sensory and pretend to have different voices, you want to switch as *alex?* then act like you're them, be blank for some seconds (or not), and then you have to change your voice slightly to make it *perfect* for you, visualize different sensory than you have, is the blanket more comfortable or less? do you feel like the light is more lighter or less? do big differences to make it distinct to you!
β’ As for people who wants amnesia induced when switching: pretend you forgot since you were that person!
6. Avoid fakeclaiming! but please don't do this because it might reverse your manifestation of plurality T_T
7. use subliminals! you can use subliminals that is focused on becoming plural/develop DID when you are relaxing, chilling, meditating, and sleeping!
