Oh, the story sounds really cool! Could you maybe tell us more about Aubercourt, or that "Grim Demise", or would those be spoilers?

[They seem rather excited that someone understands their language! It’s not often you would see this level of emotion from them. They show you a map they drew of the area their story takes place in, pointing out which one is Aubercourt.]

[They explain that this is a real area in the Water Flight region, known for being verdant enough to rival Nature Flight itself. It’s ultimately just set dressing, though, and it’s not particularly important overall... Actually, now that they think about it, would this technically classify their story as historical fiction?]

[As for the potential demise of the area... Well, you’ll have to read their story to find out. If they ever get it past the ideas stage, that is.]

how did you come up with your characters?

[They admit to having a lot of strange and.. oddly familiar dreams. A few reoccurring faces have stuck with them long enough to write stories about.]

[They've been working on this story for as long as they can remember, though they've lost track of how long it's been since they started. Basically, it's a very long-winded passion project.]

[It looks like they weren't really expecting people to be interested in anything they were doing. ]

[They introduce themselves to you as "Question"- it's a pleasure, by the way- before flipping through their book to find a better picture...]

[The one wearing the hood is known as The Wandering Clairvoyant, and he can see clearly anywhere into the future as long as he has faith in the world. The one with the mask is The Outlasting, and nothing can cause him harm as long as he has something to fight for.]

[...It appear to be the start of a fictional tale about a group of adventurers who save the world. They even added a little doodle of some of the protagonists! You get the feeling that's the part they'd been working on the most.]
