“You don’t say...” Pietro placed a hand over his chest, where he had felt a bullet rip through him. We have not once been apart for longer then when HYDRA experimented on us... made us... what did the Captain call us the day we met... Enhanced. I still do not no the ends of what I can do.. I hear the talking... that make us dangerous, Yes?”

Wanda turned at the touch, the worry on her face smoothing out into relief as soon as she saw him.

“You know, if you being 12 minutes late is another way to remind me that you’re older then that’s just on a whole other level of petty.” She smiled at him but it didn’t quite reach her eyes. Wanda knew that the cost of their dinner tonight must have come at great risk. She didn’t like the thieving. She understood, but she didn’t like it. For now though, she decided not to comment.

“If I had the chance, I’d burn Stark myself. But this will have to do.” She stepped out of the corner and purposely made her way towards the crowd of people. This whole gathering was unlikely to accomplish much but it was a way to blow off steam. Maybe, some day, they’d get a chance at the real thing.

“What I am thinking, is since I am older. I will give me baby sister a chance to be the first one to arrive everywhere else. It seems fair” He winked and shared the same heavy smile that never seemed to fill a whole face. It was hard to smile when this was your whole world.

“You know, there are rumors...strange men asking for volunteers all across this part of the world, any place that Stark has left a crater. Maybe one day they will find us here in Sokovia. We can see what they have to offer, some say they can make you... different.... Maybe that is what Sokovia needs...someone who can stand up to gods and monsters.”

Pietro walked closer to the tin can facsimile of the devil whose name haunted his dreams. A deep scowl cracked his face, as he thought of the self righteous way Tony Stark and announced himself a hero. He spat, and utter a curse under his breath as he took his sisters hand.

One shoulder propped against the side of the building, Wanda looked out onto the main street where groups of protestors were beginning to gather. It was nothing like what you would see in the movies: colourful banners, people coming together to proclaim their discontent on a certain matter with energy and enthusiasm. Here, it was more a collection of world-weary people who have seen far too many struggles in their life, the protest being a final cry for help that would most likely fall on deaf ears. But what else were they to do?

Wanda would join the gathering mass of people as soon as Pietro arrived. He told her that he would be here but what he was occupying his time with in the meantime, she didn’t know. She didn’t like being far away from her twin for too long. It unsettled her. Every time he left, Wanda feared that she would never see him again. That was just paranoia, of course and despite the fact that she knew she was being ridiculous, she couldn’t help the sinking feeling.

He should be here any minute now though. He wouldn’t just leave her.

Pietro ran his hands through the mop of dark hair that fell into his face as always. Time’s were getting harder in Sokovia, and many creature comforts, like regular haircuts had to fall by the wayside for the he and his dear sister could eat. He played it off, saved every penny he could to keep Wanda as well off as he could, this was only a small sacrifice, but he would and had given up much more and much worse for her sake.

He pressed a hand to the small of her back softly as he joined her. “Apologies little sister, I was making sure we would have dinner tonight...” He refused to go any further. He didn’t like the look on her face when she knew he was stealing.

“Today I here we are burning Stark in effigy, this pleases me almost as much as burning the Iron Man himself... he deserves no less”

ALICATWRITES THEME #2: ONLY ANGEL. 

I AM NOT A ROLEPLAY HELPER ANYMORE….but i like making themes sometimes, so……lets see how this goes, friends. ANYWAY, this is the theme i’m currently using. it’s on the more simple side. it has four links, and then one for home and ask. it includes fontawesome symbols which need to be imputed by you. it’s very simple, i promise! all you need to do is go here first, and then click on the icon of your choice. it’ll have the unicode underneath the preview (it’ll look something like this:  fa-check · Unicode: f00c · Created: v1.0 · Categories: Web Application Icons). just take that unicode (f00c in this case) and paste it into the designated place on the customize page. any questions? just let me know!
