Whoops* ć° not a drawing! - Forgive me forgive me, forgive me guys! This pullover is my home-themed piece, because home is the who/what/where that makes you feel safe, and I apparently just speak like a hallmark card now, but the sentiment stands - š„ - Patricia @anticipatricia (at Queens, New York)
Home for our Nov/Dec 2016 theme.

Happy Halloweāen!!
Hereās my Witchsona for Octoberās theme! -Julia
Iām a day late for Halloween, but hereās my witchsona!Ā
Sheās a fan of collecting mushrooms, flying, and embroidery. Her magical coat changes to match the weather and can hold some surprising things in its hidden pockets... -Sayada
Here is my āWitchā self.
Lately Iāve been inspired by black metal and itās subgenres. Itās been one of the most influential aspects of my life as of late.Ā Brought me closer to elements, awareness of self, the expression of pain, loss, acceptance of passings, and the epicness of wild forces.
Also has brought a new style Iāve been experimenting with in terms of grunge, digital editing and collage.
Jill Colbert- @manfishinc
@manfishinc here! For this month's theme my preferred medium was ink and photoshop. Which has been taking up the majority of my body of work as of late. "Coexist" Concept of spirituality and adaption of surroundings. #manfishinc #painting #art #artistsoninstagram #illustration #darkart #coexist
Maybe itās not my preferred medium, but working digitally is how I work the most, because I can make GIFs. Something I donāt always do is environments, so I decided to challenge myself for this theme. Haha, perspective!Ā
Also, I didnāt know Tumblr hated GIFs now, so this is incredibly low quality/the two GIFs probably donāt match up. You can see a hi-res version here.

I've been using colored pencils a lot lately. I've also been thinking about surviving as a woman in this world. How our hustle & our strength is viewed by others. @paigemoney ... #quickdrawcollective #QDC #coloredpencil #artistsoninstagram #illustration
I donāt really have a preferred medium, so I wanted to experiment with this theme and find something I liked doing. I tried a few paintings in gouache, but wasnāt getting a result I liked. I really just liked the sketch itself, so I brought it into Photoshop and did some light washes over it. Iām going to continue experimenting and find something that works for me, but I think I had a good start this month with pushing myself to practice every day - whether it was with this project or something different.Ā

Infinite Regress, 2016. Acrylic on panel, 6 x 24ā³.
A visual musing of some philosophical ideas related to the origin and governance of the universe. Namely, the Infinite monkey theorem, the chicken or the egg, and turtles all the way down.

The time's come to introduce our 1st theme! In September, we chose to stick with what we know by drawing in the medium we're most comfortable with. I drew Eugene the reading fiend in my usual style, complete with biscuits for his tea āļø
I really want to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for making Quick Draw Collective such an amazing group. I want to thank our incredible and hardworking members, especially those who have been a part of it since the beginning. I want to thank everyone that took the time to follow us, to watch our styles grow, and sent nice comments and notes along the way.
When I started QDC, it was back in July of 2012. I couldnāt imagine it would last until January of 2016. I started the group because I wanted a place to work onĀ āassignmentsā outside of class, but before I was freelancing. Itās grown into a little family, and Iām so happy I could help bring friends together to draw together.Ā
With my work piling up and freelancing full time, I realized I no longer had the time to spend working on QDC - and many of our members acknowledged this too. It was an experience that Iāll never forget.
Iām grateful for you, Quick Draw Collective.
Right now Iām working both a full time and a part time job and itās really difficult for me to find the time or energy to draw. But as itās the start of a brand new year, I want to try harder for the people who believe in me (including the awesome friends in this group) to use the degree that I work so hard to pay for.Ā
So hereās a little thing with words from J Cole, and a thanks to QDC for giving me a reason to draw every month. Farewell.
Vickie
Farewell QDC, thanks for bringing me closer to some of the nicest/most talented illustrators. This is truly a great group of people! Being a part of this group has given me such confidence and has challenged me artistically, I am so grateful! See you around!
Paige
With this last theme of āGratitudeā Iām going to be revealing what Iām doing for 2016.Ā
This year I was able to market myself to my target audience, grow my promotion company for independent musicians and now Iām opening up the first design for a line of t shirts that will also serve as an endorsement opportunity for musicians over the next upcoming months.
Iām so happy to see that things are growing with all these artists and illustrators over the past few years, and this served as an excellent place to help get myself in the game.
Cheers to 2016, may all of us kick its butt!
-Jill, Manfish Inc.
Iāve learned sometimes the best way to show your thankful is to say it. Thank you, Jessica, for inviting me into and running this wonderful group. Thank you, Kenton, Julia, Jade, Zoe, Heather, Hannah, Vickie, Stephanie, Emily, Jill, Paige, Patricia, and Sayada for being such fun and inspiring Quick Draws!
And thank YOU for following.
