I think it’s time to close up shop.

My silence this past year and a half may have been a clue, but it’s clear to me that it’s probably time to close up shop over here. Tumblr has been great fun these past few years (I remember opening this page almost a decade ago basically just because), and it’s been a wild ride since.

I was originally going for a personal blog on this site, but it eventually morphed into an animé-themed blog instead. Then the DS/3DS games started pouring in and I included some gaming stuff in here as well. Basically it’s a hodgepodge of all things I like without the burden of having to outright state it in my social circles. Lets face it—I have friends of my own, and I like to think that I’m living functionally, but not everyone appreciates seeing animu grills and bois and Mario all over their Facebook news feed. This place was a very nice outlet, and I even learned a few things or two because of Tumblr. (My entire knowledge of GIF generation is entirely because of this site. Gotta get that sweet, sweet reblog count)

In any case, thank you so much for sticking around all this time (if you’re still around, whoever you are). I know there are a few people here that have been following me since who knows when and haven’t really left, and I thank you for keeping me company in this otherwise anonymous outlet for me. I never really knew anybody personally on this site, but knowing that there are other people with similar interests out there was a nice feeling.

If, in any case, you’re still interested in my exploits, I do have a Twitter account: @deoxys_101. I’m still incognito there, but hey, at least it’s more updated. I’ll keep this blog around for posterity, but I probably won’t be posting again anytime soon.

Other than that... thank you. It’s been fun. I’ll see you all around.
