Please help little Hildy get the emergency treatment she needs to survive! Any donation, big or small would be incredibly appreciated! Our little 7 year old Siamese rescue needs emergency care. She has stopped eating and vomits. She has lost a lot of weight and sleeps all day. She normally is an incredibly sweet,friendly, silly cat but has lost all her energy. She needs blood work and emergency medication and possibly an IV for fluids. We took her to one vet already who overcharged us for just talking to her, she didn't even give us a basic exam. We are going to try to raise enough money to take her to the Humane Society's animal hospital, which is where we adopted her from a year ago. This cat has been through so much already in her short life. When we found her at the shelter she had already been there for 5 months in a tiny cage because she couldn't be around other cats. Her previous owner had front declawed her and took away the poor animal's defenses, so she is fearful and cannot protect herself from other cats and the outside world. Despite all that when I saw her I fell in love with how she immediately started purring and rubbing up against my hand through the cage. The next day we took her home and she has become a perfect companion. She is the sweetest cat I have ever owned and loves to wake us up with slaps to the face, and then curl up under the blanket next to us. She is very small, she only weighed 6 pounds when we adopted her, and that was when she was perfectly healthy. With this new sickness, her weightloss has brought her down to a very scary thin weight. She sleeps all day, only getting up to vomit, then crawls back to her blanket and chair. Despite feeling terrible, she still purrs when we come give her extra love, and she is very sweet. Please help us save this adorable little cat. We already saved her once by adopting her and getting her to trust humans again, we can do it again by getting her the emergency care she needs!
