Hope you’re all doing well. Sorry I haven’t been on much these days. However, I’m here now to tell you all some cool news and ask you a bit of a favor.
My sister is currently working with bigfatflea and running their tumblr and social media stuff. Big Fat Flea is a plus sized, all inclusive flea/rummage sale in New York. This year it is taking place on Sunday, October 4th. They have clothing, shoes, and accessories for cheap! The event is run by a super rad, inclusive bunch of people, so no discrimination based on gender or sexuality or race or anything, and the proceeds from the event are going to NOLOSE- which is a community of “fat queers and allies.”
Tickets just went on sale today and you can buy them here. General admission is just $10, but you can buy VIP tickets, which lets you skip lines and get in 30 minutes before everyone else, for $25.
They are also looking to get in contact with some of you lovelies to spread the word to your followers, and just raise some awareness for a good cause and stylish, well fitting clothes. If you’re interested in that you can contact my sister at the bigfatflea official tumblr here.
