Pearl heard footsteps approaching her and turned to get a big surprised. Steven was standing there before her. She just stared at him in complete silence.

"S….Steven?"

   Seeing pearl in such a state made the demi-gem feel a mixture of shock and sadness. He didn't like seeing friends, or family, upset; no matter what the case was. Steven slowly approached her, cocking a brow in a confused manner. 

                                ☆—" Puh- Pearl? Are you... Are you okay?"

                █ ▌◊ ᵗʳᵘᵉ ᵍᵉᵐ ◊; ;                          ❛ mhmh—hehehe ! oh yeah we totally could do that!                              but this time, we’ll do it aaaaaaall  by ourselves -                              without pearl. or garnet. ❜                             she quietly sneaked to the door that                             would lead to their rooms.

                      ❛ through the puddle again? i bet pearl wouldn’t                                 expect us jumping between the waters again. ❜

   The demi-gem lifted his hands up and over his mouth, holding back the cheers that was just waiting to be let out. Steven nodded before following behind the other gem. Through his fingers though, you could hear the little snickers he'd proclaimed rather b l i s s f u l l y.   

                  ☆— "Yeah! Let's do it; heheh.            And this time I'll make a bigger splash too."

The secret team, one more time.                                              Then we'll never do  or bring up the team ever again."

       ” Oh you know, the usual… healthy              eating… casual reading down by              the beach. You could say that I’ve              been alright. Not as interesting as              an intense mission with the gems              though.  " Connie clears her throat slightly, looking at Steven with fingers soon intertwined. She’s waiting of course for the boy to go on and explain this mission.

Steven nods. Reading? Er, it wasn't his thing. Going on adventures and doing things more proactive was the type of things the boy found thrilling, and over all exciting. Still, it was nice to hear about how his friend spent her day. Despite not having too much of his liking.                                                 ☆—" Reading is still fun...especially at the beach                                                      I think your day was  e q u a l l y  as fun as mine."
