Create your own Galaxy S Rom

Its actually very easy and many people even don`t know about that!!

choose if you own a SgS or Captivate :) .. go to Generator and pick what u need from BaseRom to Sounds .. the best way is to use the wipe function to have a clean start ;) ... 

For BaseRom and CSC i would go with default .. The best kernel offered is Hardcores Kernel (includes the Voodoo sound improvement, AMOLED behaviour changes, RAM optimizations and lot of other stuff).. modem JPY - default.. for the other stuff it is mostly a question of taste , good tip if you don`t know what something mentioned on the site is, just google it :) .. the good on it is that it offers changes from BootAnimation to Themes , Kernel etc :) .. 

Once the ROM is done u get a .zip package that u need to copy to your internal sd card .. turn off your phone.. and go to recovery mode (volume up + home button + power button) .. i prefer to have it clean so using wipe data / factory reset in the menu (u can confirm the options with the power button or home button and moving up and down with the volume buttons) and then just go to "install zip from sdcard" >> "choose zip from sdcard" and confirm :).. takes som minutes and after that your phone is rooted with one of the best lagfix app :) u have root and a lot of bonus apps .. 

for Tweakers :) .. in the recovery menu you have also later "advanced SpeedMod ULK features" and stuff like "Tweak options" .. "BLN options" - backlight notification with the two Led buttons on the phone :) .. useful as the phone doesn`t have a dedicated Led diode .. for maximum performance set under "Lagfix options" the phone to "enable lagfix: convert DATA to Ext4" - best performance and security .. 

small tips @the finish when using a lagfix go only with ext4 ;) .. before trying something from what u red here ensure that your download mode is working properly! (volume down + Home + power button) - to be sure that if something happens u can repair your phone without any problems...
