Thieves' Den 32x56

Hidden beneath the city streets, this secluded den serves as a safehouse for a small but ambitious gang. Crates, sacks, and dusty furniture conceal a growing collection of stolen goods—coin, jewelry, artwork, and valuables acquired through theft, extortion, smuggling, and less lawful ventures. Whether controlled by goblin cutthroats, a crew of desperate rogues, or a rising syndicate such as the Shattergang, the den represents both a treasure trove and a tempting target.

Adventurers may choose to raid the hideout and strike a blow against local crime, but removing one gang rarely changes the balance for long. Rival factions, corrupt officials, and powerful guildmasters always seem to require discreet hands willing to do what cannot be done in public. Alternatively, the party might forge an alliance with the gang, eliminate competing crews, and carve out a criminal empire of their own in the city's shadows.

From this fusion was born the Chronos Vault: a hidden chamber beneath an Orzhov basilica, housing a mechanism capable of reversing a living body's biological timeline. The Izzet provided the technology support. The Orzhov provided the capital and the test subjects, funding the construction while supplying bodies to refine the volatile technology.

Set within the calm heart of Precinct Three, Harvest Concourse gathers the district’s bounty into a shared civic space. Simple stalls curve along the plaza, offering fresh produce from nearby gardens and pastures. Trade is slow and often bartered, with neighbors lingering to share food and conversation, making the market as much about community as commerce.

The wide, open design also welcomes the passage of beasts common to the precinct. Massive draft animals—Indrik, ceratoks, and other burden beasts—move freely alongside wagons piled with goods. Ample space is left between stalls, allowing these creatures to pass without disruption, a quiet reflection of a district where people, animals, and livelihood exist in easy harmony.

Within this hollowed stretch of Korozda, the Stagnant Pool spreads through a series of shallow basins and narrow passages carved by slow erosion rather than design. The water rests unevenly in dark pockets, seeping into cracks and depressions where organic matter gathers and lingers. Sludge, bone fragments, and dissolved refuse settle into these still reaches, feeding colonies of fungus and corpse-growth embedded along the cavern floor and walls. Over time, the tainted water is drawn outward through porous stone and root-choked fissures, carrying its nutrients toward nearby corpse farms and fungal beds deeper in the undercity. To an outsider, the caverns appear abandoned and inert—yet to the Golgari Swarm, this stagnant network is a quiet engine of sustenance, where decay is not discarded, but refined into nourishment for Ravnica’s forgotten population.
