you have a very specific system when it comes to making your decisions . decisions made based on what's the worst fucking thing that could happen & you deciding that that specific thing isn't actually as bad as it could be & why the hell would you let that stop you ? needless to say , you also have a fucking ancient scroll of a list of bad ideas that were actually bad ideas , but that's neither here nor there . this particular idea could , theoretically , be way worse . . . but it's harmless , harmless & easy to mark off as stupid shit richie tozier says when he's blazed out of his mind . ( 'cept you're not , richie . there's only the mild buzz of the drug at the back of your head & only a ting of red in the whites of your eyes . they aren't even lidded enough to hide the way you look at will like he could've hung the stars themselves when your gaze lifts to him . )

idk what richie's place in ud would be but quarry verse camp counselor richie who is both a Terrible influence on the kids bc he has a god awful mouth & encourages all of the shenanigans while also simultaneously being Great with the kids bc he is a child at heart & he tells really stupid jokes & he keeps everyone laughing is so important to me :/

The  sound  of  his  laughter  caused  the  frown  to  pull  even  heavier  across  pierced  lips  and  she  looked  up  at  him  with  furrowed  brows  and  a  huff  of  a  sound  that  rose  and  fell  her  shoulders.  He  may  be  her  best  friend,  but  he  wasn’t  immune  to  her  taking  out  his  kneecaps.

And  she  sure  would  try.

Maybe  if  she  actually  took  a  moment  to  figure  out  the  mechanics  of  pulling  off  a  feat  such  as  this  she  may  have  stood  a  chance.  But,  she  was  too  riled  up  and  she  went  right  for  his  knees  to  use  that  leverage  to  lift  him  up.  Only  it  didn’t  work  that  way.  Not  even  a  little.  Julie  managed  to  get  Richie  over  her  shoulder  for  a  split  second  before  she  was  toppling  backwards  and  planting  him  right  on  his  smug  face  as  the  two  of  them  were  a  mess  of  flailing  limbs  and  suddenly  she  just  erupted  in  laughter.

“You  fucker,  you  did  this.  You  started  this.”  she  just  laid  there  and  stared  at  the  ceiling  as  she  laid  on  him.  "I  should  have  just  taken  out  your  kneecaps  years  ago  and  we  wouldn’t  be  here  right  now.  You’d  be  at  my  level.“
