Projects 77 and 78: Kisuichu and Shirochu, in that order. Because there is no such thing as too many Pikachu.

I'd actually been considering making Kisuichu for a while, since I have no idea if/when I'll get around to sewing her McCall's plush; the problem was not knowing if I had a suitable shade of orange. Turns out I did, and needed to plug a number into a temperature blanket palette maker first. Her cheeks are plum, and her stripes/base of tail are aubergine.

As for Shirochu, it just wouldn't feel right to have two incomplete sets of electric rodents. Besides her yellow cheeks, her stripes and base of tail are navy--not the one "pixel" of colour in her eyes, though, because navy and black don't mix.

Project no. 76: Blurr, Iacon's fastest and most reliable data courier. With how much I'd been drawing him lately (mostly at Other Places), this was inevitable.

Unlike Arcee and Hot Rod, who mostly fit into my human-character template, Blurr needed unique arms (which also make him the first/only amigurumi of mine this far to have elbow bends). The idea was to allow him some shoulder movement, unlike the Sailor Guardians--but then his helmet nerfed that, requiring them to be reattached at a downward angle.

I saved his helmet for last, knowing that it was going to be an even tougher challenge than his arms AND OH BOY WAS IT... mostly the bits that swoop forward. Once those were out of the way, it was mostly a matter of endurance--his helmet is comprised of nine pieces, most of them labour-intensive in and of themselves.

(The mini-Blurr is not part of this pattern. He uses Blurr's G1 toy colours.)

This individual is named "Poni" after the inspiration for her redesign, Pony Metal U-Gaim. Her role in defending Junk is to lure ne'er-do-wells to the rest of the Junkions for a good shit-kicking.

So early in the process of localizing Pokemon, it was suggested that Pikachu become a Thundercat. Tsunekazu Ishihara came away thinking "big-titty tiger girl", which probably wasn't what NoA had in mind... but you can't say "big-titty tiger girl" and expect me NOT to draw it.

(Maybe someone else can iterate on this to make a proper Pokemon out of, rather than a Digimon.)

Deceptifemmes.

-An idea what I had for the Burst Error version of Nemesis Prime, based on the Missing Link toy who's meant to be a body for the Decepticon starship Nemesis. In this case, she got this body by extracting a spinal fluid sample from Optimus.

-Mistbow, one of the unnamed Seekers from "More than Meets the Eye Part 3".

So, I was poking around an archive of Raksha's website when I spotted something on the front page about there being at least one female Decepticon in the Sunbow cartoon--the lilac Seeker, whom she'd read as female based on this here screenshot:

Mistbow, as I'm naming her, is one of the younger Seekers (possibly part of Slipstream's trine, if she has one). She's pictured here without her null-rays.

A (not so) quick-n-dirty edit of AU!Arcee's first body. @library-seraph asked if she was trans like in IDW and suggested that she and Hot Rod were originally identical twins; thus it came to pass.

At minimum, I wanted her to already have her shoulderpads, so that they wouldn't come out of nowhere post-reformat; they don't fit on Hot Rod's arms, so those got edited as well. No exhaust blasters, either, since Arcee never had them.

...oh yeah, also: Hot Rod and Arcee are siblings in Burst Error. :U

I drew this around the same time as the pics from the first TF dump, as a "what if MLP had been structured like Transformers" thought exercise; picking out members of this iteration of the Mane Six, beyond Firefly and Moondancer, turned out to be a lot tougher than anticipated.

The rest of her turned out fine, I think. I had to make her shoulderpads halfway through sewing her head on so that I could figure out where to position them such that they wouldn't get in the way of anything.

Transformers dump.

-First efforts at drawing Hot Rod, Arcee (maybe--she might be floating around my high school TF doodles), Blurr, and Wheelie.

-Lifeline as she appears in my AU musings, no longer an Arcee retool. While a committed pacifist like virtually all Paradronians, she's not anywhere near as harmless as she looks.

-In this AU, the dwarf planet Ceres is home to plant-based Transformers known as "Edenoids"; Botanica is their primary representative. They're currently dealing with a nasty Insecticon infestation.

Botanica's G1 design is based on her Animated self (seen only in the Almanac). Padma and Oleander are OCs; the former has water-based abilities (being a lotus and all), while the latter's shoulder-cannon shoots poison darts.

-Rosecroix is the Ark's chaplain. As a nun, she tries to avoid getting involved in the fighting if she can help it, but as time goes on, it gets harder for her to stick to the sidelines.

Mozzamazel was next on my list of Clover Fakemon to salvage, but she/they proved incredibly difficult to rework without straying further from the base concept than I'd like. So I turned Alcremie into an egg-and-chili-pepper Fire/Fairy-type.
