Classic car accessories that earn their keep: car covers, floor mats, vintage gauges, retro audio, storage gear, and anti-theft.
Classic Car Accessories: What to Buy First and What to Skip
Four things you can buy for an old car, and they are not interchangeable.
Original used. Pulled off another car, correct by definition, condition anywhere from excellent to scrap. Often the only option for trim and glass.
NOS. Factory parts that were never fitted. The gold standard for a judged car and priced like it. Rubber is the exception, because decades on a shelf turn a seal into a cracker.
Licensed reproduction. Made from original tooling or licensed patterns. Usually the sane middle ground, and the quality depends on the manufacturer rather than the category.
Generic aftermarket. Fine for a floor mat. A false economy on anything that fits, seals, or stops the car.
Where it goes wrong is predictable. Chrome that pits in a season. Stamping that is close but not right. Weatherstripping cut a few millimeters short so the door never quite seals. Gauge faces in the wrong shade of ivory. The way around it is to ask a marque club or a model forum which brand people are actually keeping on their cars, before you order the cheapest listing that matches your search.
And there is a firm line. Brakes, fuel lines, steering, wiring, and glass are not places to save money, no matter what the car is being judged on.
I've finished university and can draw Roddy again! My sweet boy!
And Drift yep
And Im still working on this...hot guy...ehehe..got it...? Cuz he's Hot Rod...hehehe
i came up with a sequel idea for Let’s Put on a Show for the Folks at Home a while back where the concept was just like . i mean it was basically an overcomplicated rehash of the first, but the concept Was:
ultra magnus puts his hand on hot rod's shoulder and goes "Hot Rod i am going to paint you in black and brown and send you undercover behind enemy lines to spy on the decepticons for me" and hot rod was like "o7 yes sir ultra magnus sir!" and he had a little camera put on him that would be livestreaming whatever it captured and the hot rod would go off to do that
back at base, arcee and springer find out about this plan and are up in arms about it because the place hot rod's supposed to be infiltrating is currently commanded by none other than Deadlock, who had previously stated (in LPoaSftFaH) his ~interest~ in hot rod and they're terrified of a repeat encounter
meanwhile hot rod and deadlock have to play fucking 5d chess where they both know and love each other <333 but also they have to pretend they don't and deadlock's just a creep who's into hot rod. but then because hot rod is undercover (lmao his con-sona was a brown n black recolor calling himself "rat rod") deadlock is pretending that he doesn't recognize him and hot rod has to pretend like he doesn't know deadlock dsfgertyagd
anyways this all culminates in deadlock "forcing" himself upon roddy while a live camera catches this all in 4k. hot rod is having Soooooo much fun pretending to be a sad little victim and deadlock keeps having to pause so he doesn't burst out laughing at hot rod's acting (it isn't bad necessarily, it's just . it's so dramatic..) meanwhile watching the livestream, ultra magnus (feat. others??? idk who lol.) is head in hands ashamed that his orders have caused this for poor hot rod.......
“Just the tip,” Deadlock promises. So long as he swears not to go any deeper than that, Hot Rod will spread his legs and bare his valve.
He keeps his promise at the outset, at least—alternating between grinding against wet folds and popping the head of his spike in and out of that tight heat. But when Hot Rod begins shivering his way through an overload, Deadlock just can’t help but sink deeper. He wants to feel Hot Rod wrapped around his entire spike, calipers milking him as their owner climaxes, lubricant squirting from his valve.
“You promised…” Hot Rod whines even as he rocks himself against Deadlock’s spike.
“Oops,” Deadlock says, playfully unrepentant. “Guess I’ll just have to make it up to you.”
And he does this by properly fragging his little racer into his second overload. Then maybe a third.
Was listening to Hot Rod by Dayglow so I drew..... Hot Rod. For like the second time ever or something
