hi @derealitysys i saw your comment from a day ago (apologies for such a late response, i havent been in front much lately) i thought itd be a little easier to answer your request for tips in a separate post as my comment was becoming very long-winded. i hope some of this can help!

its going to depend alot on specifically what kind of symptoms youre going for as schizophrenia is very varied with alot of different symptoms/presentations, but heres some general advice that might help under the cut! (if you want something more specific, or more details on a specific symptom, feel free to comment again with details)

for positive symptoms: for delusions a very common method is to simply fake them until you convince yourself theyre real, (which i personally have found to be fairly effective from personal experience,) picking what delusions you want and reinforcing those beliefs constantly, having/choosing ideas of reference can also help by constantly affirming to yourself that unrelated things are correlated to your delusions (which can also help with inducing disorganized thoughts!) for hallucinations, imposition is known to be fairly effective if you have the time to constantly work on it (albeit i dont know of many general guides, but the tulpa community has a lot of imposition guides for all five senses which i think could be easily applied to your desired hallucination in place of a tulpa instead) <- also hallucinations are known for commonly being related to the delusions present in psychosis (for people who experience both) so it may help affirm potential delusions if you do hallucination-imposition related to them as well

when it comes to negative symptoms: for flat affect you can practice having blank/neutral facial expressions in a mirror or making your voice more monotone. ideas of reference/delusional thinking can also help increase the chances of disorganized thinking (as previously mentioned) and may make it easier to develop disorganized speech/word salad. many schizophrenic people also become asocial/isolating particularly in psychosis, so distancing yourself from others and avoiding social interactions (within reason/whatever is healthiest for you) can be helpful if it isnt harmful to you. although not as common, some also experience poverty of speech/alogia, giving very simple responses that are as few words as possible may help with this. anhedonia primarily includes reduced motivation or ability to feel pleasure and a similar symptom is avolition which also involves a decrease in motivation and the ability to perform daily tasks (both similar to depression), im not entirely sure how to fully develop these symptoms but i think that working on procrastination, doing less during the day, not getting all responsibilities done that need to be done during the day, and not reaching out to people/staying inside more often can help with these (again, all within reason/whatever youre personally capable of)

in general schizophrenia also frequently results in memory loss/amnesia, difficulty interpreting and understanding oneself and other people (including reading facial expressions), sensory issues, dissociation, etc. though im not too sure how to induce these symptoms, but maybe there are some guides/websites out there that could help with these aspects :)

as a cisschizophrenic that used to id as transschizophrenic i think all transschizospecs and transpsychotics are awesome <3 its so awesome for you to see a highly stigmatized disorder(s) and still be like "actually i wish i was like that/im going to identify with that too" :o)

i hope all the transschizospecs, transpsychotics, transdelusionals, and other similar folk all have a great transition (if thats what you desire) 💞

i find it really surprising that the radqueer community grew so much since late-2022/early-2023, i feel like back then there were maybe only a handful of active members and nobody really knew the community existed.

ive been around in (especially pro-para) similar communities for around ~6 years on many different platforms and i feel many of them often end up vanishing to small corners of the internet or completely hiding altogether as a result of harassment/bullying from antis, so i think its really comforting that the radqueer community is not only still here but now has (seemingly) hundreds of people actively participating and supporting it :o) it seems like a place i can always return even if i take a break for months or years and itll still be here
