I don't know what happened in my brain but I seriously made this so so quickly it was insane. I had no vision. Just throwing up thoughts on the canvas. The spirit of toxic yuri possessed me and guided my every movement, and it turned out pretty rad? I feel like I was inspired by Akatsuki Records but honestly I have zero idea any of my thought process I just Had to Make This

Well, I decided to try out something new, and uh. I definitely need to get a little quicker at it, but I'm VERY happy with how it came out

I call this one Unknown Admissions! I have no idea how I could better format this on tumblr, but I wanna do more comic stuff like this. I'm not gonna ramble TOO much about it, since this is already a very wordy post and I have a loooot I'd have to talk about, but I'll just say. I'm proud. I had fun figuring out how to do the manga artstyle (five shades of grey combined with what clip studio calls "toning"), and trying to replicate the games' end screens for the last page. Also loved flexing my expressions, writing, and some background art, don't get to do those as often as I'd like. I definitely need to get quicker at making pages if I wanna make these any longer though... ofc any feedback is appreciated, this is a new thing for me lmao

Hey so you'll never guess what my new hyperfixation is (it's Touhou)

Yeah uh my first (and so far only) Touhou game was pretty cool. sunken fossil world my belobed. I am now mentally ill. I've thought about nothing but the funny girls for three months straight and my only friend that's into it has been gone for like four months so I think I will explode actually. For you guys I guess all that matters is that I've been taking FOREVER to do art bc I have so so many WIPs now that I haven't been able to focus on a single one, but I really liked this idea for Yuuma's 'divine form' so I just decided to sit myself down and finish it.

That's right, I made another fuck-off massive drawing of my friends for her birthday. This one is for @blotsamwich who """coincidentally""" shares a name with the Blot from Epic Mickey, so it's fight time! I know in the game, the Blot Spirits are only inside the Blot but I wanted to add some more action to the scene, so I put them here, plus it gave me an excuse to put in some of her OCs from Splatoon, Pokemon, and Hollow Knight. Also fun fact I lost access to my drawing tablet partway through drawing this, so I had to draw those tentacles all without outlines, it was all line tool babyyyy

This is for @tiredclemont's birthday, so it's packed with a bunch of references that basically only they will get lmao, but feel free to take a closer look and see all the details, even if you don't know the stories behind them. Besides, I wanted to make this come together as a complete piece even from a distance, so I had a lot of fun with the clashing between the dream world and the nightmarish corruptions. The "shading" where the outlines turn red, the dissipating soul arms, and ESPECIALLY how Nightmare turns opaque and pitch black with the eyes shining through. Here's to another year in remembrance of the Tired Kingdom.

Open Your Eyes - JAN04/2023

So I got an art tablet and I was testing it out, and I wanted to finish this drawing of Luna, my Alolan Pokemon trainer OC, because it looked kinda cool, and I ended up going a bit ham with the lighting, but I feel like that was inevitable from the moment I decided it would be a faceoff with Ultra Necrozma. I had a lot of fun playing with the reflections like in the Poke Ball and especially the shades, where each lens is a reference to the USUM boxart, and the light's rainbow aura on the ground, which is green in the middle where Luna is and fades to the Sun/Moon colors on the edges.

Also, I've never drawn Luna's eyes before; they're always closed even when you can see behind the shades. Coming up with their design was fun, buuuut I had too much fun making lighting effects and now I need a lore reason for her eyes to be all glowy like that. Looks cool though.

Anyways, hopefully I can use this tablet to get things done a bit easier. Also I updated my art tag to ygsv, I'll go back and retag my stuff later.

I decided to try making myself in another game's style for my birthday, partially to train myself to move quicker, partially just as general style training. So this is a version of my avatar in Mario style getup. Not a super fan of the eyes, but I do love the fit, I never liked the idea of myself in a dress until I made the dress awesome. I was also definitely inspired by that Wapeach design concept that came out recently, namely on the boots. Also I really love the dark blue jewels, er, stones? Whatever. Donut earrings. Maybe keeping in line with the names of peach and daisy this can be princess donut lmao

Things are getting a little out of hand in the Deepsea Metro's dark underbelly, I'm sure they have the situation under control, though. Just a minor containment breach. I've always wanted to draw Timeru getting a little spooky, but I hit a bit of an art block for the piece (I started it back in JANUARY), so it feels good to finally get this out there. I was struggling to figure out who she should be terrorizing, but eventually I decided to make it about how she escaped the metro, so I decided to go with @blotsamwich's character, Mem, who's a scientist down there. She'll be fine, but looks like she's only barely getting out of this one. Figured since I was already working on the scary art I oughta save it for halloween, so we got some extra background details like the console in the back, and that 'lost' lab coat on the right, hope its owner finds it soon >~>

Also Timeru's doing much better now dw. She's calmed down a lot since then and she's chill with Mem now. Dunno how Mem feels about that though

I felt kinda bad covering up all the background stuff I was doing with the murky darkness, especially Timeru's monster form, so maybe if this post does any good I'll do some behind-the-scenes for this piece

I haven't properly drawn myself in a while so I decided to give it another go. I'm still playing around with exact shapes and proportions but I think that this is a more accurate depiction than the previous one I did so I figured I'd finalize one of my better practice drawings.
