To be clear, this assumption is me doing a pattern recognition exercise on Aaron’s social media, and realizing that after April 2024, he stops mentioning Taylor at all, after 3 1/2 years of gushing about her time and time again publicly
The April 2024 TTPD post was the last time he mentions Taylor on IG. Prior to that, you can see below, he frequently posts pics of her, promotes her, thanks her for sending him things, highlights pics of them on stage together, etc, choosing to use her face as his main image many times
The Midnights and TTPD posts are examples of how passionately he speaks about her artistry and how he often calls her dear friend. Aaron seems like the kind of person who feels things deeply, and it seems that for 4 years he truly though Taylor was one of his closest friends and that the act of making albums together bonded them in a special way
What do I *think* happened? Again, stating I have zero knowledge first hand—I think after Taylor got what she wanted from Aaron, she dropped him, like she does with anyone she no longer finds useful (every famous queer person she hung on from Lover era would like a word and acknowledgement for why they didn’t get a wedding invite in 2026) and that probably really hurt Aaron, who seems too fragile a soul for this world in many ways
The fact that we see zero promo or acknowledgment of TLOAS from him, even though he wasn’t involved, is interesting given how much he has gushed about his dear close personal friend who he said he deeply respects as an artist in the years prior. My assumption is that that respect and friendship has diminished, and he didn’t feel like supporting her publicly anymore
