2019 has been a very good year ..💐
In spite of everything that happened during the past week (I’ll come back to this later).
This is the year we saw Lili and Cole going from strength to strength.
In February, Cole post not one, not two, but three photos of Lili from their Valentine’s getaway at Whistler.
In which he wrote “Quite actually the only thing keeping me sane is Lili Reinhart
Whereas Lili’s own post of them almost kiss..
With the caption “You make me very happy. Happy Valentine’s Day, my love” the selfie post is currently the most liked SH ig post at 9.5 M and counting.
Cole’s film Five Feet Apart kicked off to a good start with a memorable SH red carpet at its premiere in March.
Then came the Met Gala which I think easily topped the 2018 Met Gala with both representing the same fashion house Ferragamo.
That same month, they took off for a well deserved break at one of the most beautiful places on earth, Hacienda de San Antonio in which they generously shared many of their sojourn.
The fandom went wild when Cole’s FFA became an instant hit with the box office over ten times its budget of $7 millilon.
During the hiatus, Cole took on several photoshoot assignments and almost took part in another film project, until he had to cancel due to film schedule clash with Riverdale.
Lili has starred in two film projects, Hustlers and Chemical Hearts.
Then came a bombshell right after the San Diego Comic Con when US Weekly reported that Sproushart have split after two years of dating!!!
No word from either Lili or Cole for three days then came this joint photoshoot for W Magazine which had been assembled back in May.
The article (blighted somewhat by late additions reflecting the ‘split’) accompanying the photoshoot, however, has shed light on their relationship like never before. It was the first time Cole acknowledged they were in a relationship. Both of them gave candid account of their status and talked about their plans. We learn that Cole has been saving for a house. We also learn how SH spent their time during the hiatus. Definitely not “out drinking every night”. They love to spend time at the beach, go for drives and nesting, etc. All in all, apart from the unnecessary late additions, it was a well written article and SH have shared their inner thought talking about each other in an inconcievable manner back in 2018.
Now, back to the “split” bombshell which originated from someone “overhearing” Cole telling a friend that they have broken up. This was further attributed by the couple’s seemingly distance at the party.
Nobody could corroborate these accounts, however. We saw them interact during interviews, flirting even. Even better than last year, we were blessed with a clip of them dancing at one of the parties. Last year we heard they were dancing but no evidence.
We may never know what actually triggered last week’s pandemonium. It does prove how fickle a situation can quickly become. Nobody denies that relationships are all plain sailing. Like all young (and famous) couples, Lili and Cole must navigate their relationship through scrutinizing eyes. This can be very stressful to say the least.
At the end of the day, it’s their happiness that counts. From what we have gleamed so far, Sprousehart are in a good place, professionally and personally. I’m sure they (and us) come out stronger from this event and most importantly,
“Nobody say we breakup until we say so.”
Now, that is why I call 2019 a very good year....🌷
