Hey, I know this isn't really Mweor related, and I know a lot of my don't recognize me from there. Hi, I'm ThatSmallWeirdo#124799 over on mweor. But I'm going through hell right now, I lost my dad unexpectedly on friday, and my aunt and I are scrambling to try and pay for just his cremation costs.

So I’m trying to sell some items I have in my shop for either USD or MP, and I’ll discount bulk purchases if you buy more than 5 items! I’ll sell at slightly under the 1:2 USD to MP ratio if you pay with USD as well. 

I’m trying to raise some money to help with repairs I need to get on my car since it suddenly broke down. Maybe I should treat myself for once and make a marble for my birthday tomorrow. Guess I need to think up a design by tomorrow, luckily there’s SO many new markings to work with. I feel so blessed that Mweor updates have been so frequent with the new staff changes!

Ummmm, can we just talk about the new name and description for this thin blue line custom?? Did we watch the same movie? Because it’s not as if Zootopia was a commentary on racial profiling and bias towards different groups of people or anything. The whole thing that the BLM movement is trying to stop? Judy Hopps would NOT support the kind of police we have in the US today. 

Removed  the username of the owner just because it felt wrong to show it, even though I’m sure 90% of you know who it is, and about the custom already.

Question to Former Staff

I’m just curious, since the site has changed owners now (THANK YOU NAYA, BUH-BYE KAH) do any former staff have plans to try and re-join in the development of Mweor? I don’t know much about Naya since I’m not the most active in the community, but from what she posted it seems like the site is in very good, fair hands. Are any former Mods/Writers/Coders/Artists/etc planning to, or even considering, joining the team again? 

On a similar thread, is anyone who hasn’t worked on Mweor before planning on applying now that things seem to be heading in a positive direction once more?

I can’t even express how happy I am that the site seems to have been saved from what would have been a very sure, fiery demise. I hope we get many, many more years of pixel cats from now on!

Hey, so with all the crap going on, if anyone is looking for a different kind of pet breeding site to join, Felisfire is a great choice. It’s based on an alien planet, with cat-like xenofelinoids inhabiting it.

You can breed males x males and females x females with pretty easy to obtain items, and there are also Omnis that can act as either one during breeding. It has tons of markings and customization, and I’d love to have some more friends over there! It’s a very small community right now, but the owners are very active.

Remember the Baby Snake I Posted About last September with the Broken Back?

This is her now!!!

For those that don’t know, the pet store I worked at got this girl as a return, and the people had broken her back. I adopted her in order to try and help her recover and heal, and took her to an exotics vet. She was only 4 grams when I got her, weighing less than a literal quarter. She needed lots of R&R, vitamin B complex shots, and force feeding for months. Slowly though, she started to heal! Eventually she was able to eat and shed again without help, and now she’s a perfectly happy, healthy snake with a quirky personality and a big appetite. About a week ago she weighed in at a whopping 94 grams! Through it all, she never even tried to bite, and is as sweet and docile as can be. She doesn’t even mind nose boops and tiny smooches

Baby Corn Snake Update

I know I haven’t given an update on my rescue corn snake for wayyy too long, but I’ve been super busy with life and all that. 

After about a month of having to force feed her since she was so deteriorated, little Frito’s back was mostly healed up, though she may be a bit lumpy the rest of her life. She still had no appetite no matter how I tried to offer up the pinkies, so I took her back to the vet. We decided to try and stimulate her appetite with B12 injections, since it often works on reptiles. They gave me a tube of B-12 complex and tiny insulin syringes to give her 0.025 ccs twice a week. I had to give her the injections myself, which was quite the experience.

Even with all the crap she’s been through, she’s never tried to bite, just a scared little noodle that tried to run away.

Then, last week she took her first meal all on her own! She was scared of the feeding tongs, so I just set the pinkie under her hide with her and just left for like an hour.

When I came back I wasn’t really expecting much, after a month and a half of having to force feed. But when I peeked under the hide, I didnt see the pinkie! I looked at her, and she was stuffed like a lil sausage! 

So tonight she took her second meal without having to continue the injections, so she’s almost back to 100% now. She has a lot of growing to do to catch up for her age, but she’s more comfortable and healthier every day. She gobbles them down in like a minute or two once she decides it’s safe to eat.

Finally Getting New Tablet Pen

After a few years of being unable to draw on my computer since my dad ‘fixed’ *coughcough broke coughcough* my tablet pen,I finally ordered a new one! I missed being able to draw digitally. This is the first digital drawing I made with my very first tablet back in ‘13,and then one of my recent drawings from last year. I haven’t been able to draw much, and paper and pencil is a lot more annoying for me, since there’s no layer or undo button lol.

But in six years I think I’ve come a long way, and I can’t wait to jump back into digital art again!
