Rakesh Kothari, Founder of Sherry and Diya Foundation have launched an ambulance service to help and rescue stray animals in the Mumbai city.
“We started to help street animals 5years back. Now we are ready to run ambulance and help animals in pain. I wish more people join us and come up with such ambulances in every city in India so that even animals can lead a healthy life,”
People can call at Toll-free Number 1800 123 1137 to reach us. Our ambulance daily run for feeding stray animal at South Mumbai from 10.30 am to 6.30 pm.
“The ambulance will look after injured animals who don’t have shelters or home. It was really required and I feel blessed to be a part of this activity.”
In addition, several NGOs like World for All (WFA), Save Our Strays, Animals Matter To Me (AMTM) and YODA are actively involved in helping animals in the city.

Sherry and Diya Foundation took to the streets of Nariman Point to spread awareness and fight against the cruelty of Animals where there was huge public support who joined us. In many instances, we had seen that animals were abused every day and every other day, news about cruelty on animals was becoming common. We, therefore, decided to act on it and also tried to convince people to act for innocent animals as well.

I like animals more than humans because animals understand us more than selfish peoples...
