The only thing I question is how “he” truly meant it and is this per chance, the opinion of others simply thinking they know his feelings and thoughts towards things? Yes, we know for fact both he and the director have been reading the tweets and I just pose the question that perhaps there was humor in the “you win” as in playing to/for the fans and he decided to take the selfie? I’m not saying I’m right in this either, just posing a question or some thought I think some folks may have overlooked. Perhaps it was all in good fun, and sure there has been some amount of ‘pressure to please’ but that doesn’t necessarily mean the guys felt ‘bullied’ to do so. They’re also generating interest for a project, so that’s a helpful thing to a project. They’re grown-ass men and can do as much or as little as they want. They don’t have to tweet or interact with fans, yet they choose too, and it looks like they’re having fun. They don’t have to satisfy any ‘demands’ and I doubt they would beyond any business sense. Something else to consider, while i’m ranting, if the fandom(s) are going to basically go to blows every time he/others post something and we all go off on what/why we think they’re trying to say/mean… They’re not going keep that interaction. This is a gift and a kindness of others offering us interaction, a privilege. We don’t have to tag them every 2 seconds and please let them speak for themselves. :( We should all exercise more consideration, to them and to others and each other. Guys, ladies… Relax, play nice, enjoy what we have or I promise you, this will not last.
I agree that he was not forced into anything and that it was a friendly response to a more clear photo and a selfie. I agree that EL and RA were in it together and it was done for the fans.
