Assalamualaikum dear aida & faddy:) I'll be having night shift this week. what are some of the recommended hings that I can do because most likely I will miss terawih/tahajjud but I do not want to lose out on the barakah of the last nights in ramadhan :'(
Walaikumsalam dear!Apologies for replying late - but we hope this wont be too late for you! We find that always busying our tongues with Zikir and Selawat and Du’a helps a lot, even if we might miss terawih or tahajjud. If you have breaks in between, it’ll be nice if you can make time to just pray even 2 raka’a of Tahajjud, so that you can still feel the barakah of these last nights of Ramadhan. If you can listen to audio while you are working, you can also listen to the Quran. :) But at any chance you get, try to always moistened your lips with Zikir / Selawat and Dua if all else seems to be too difficult for you.
Sending you all our love and prayers,
A+F
Ramadhan Reminders was supposed to be a Ramadhan-only project, but we are thinking of continuing it, going through a hadith a week for a year, until we complete the entire Mukhtar al-Hadith book inshaAllah!
However, we would need your support to cover the costs of this side project as the Soundcloud account we use to upload and host these episodes would cost us USD 135 (SGD200 approximately) per year.
If you have found the episodes to be of benefit, and you would like to support us in continuing this side project, you could support us financially by sponsoring however much you can towards the costs of this project here:

Salam! I can't seem to access the Omar Series :(
Waalaikumusalaam sis! We’ve added another link in the resource page :) You can try that one!Sincerely,A+F
Assalamualaikum AA+FW! MashaaAllah, may Allah bless your efforts in sharing ilm! Jazakumullah khairan katheeran for all that you've shared! I loved the latest Podcast about the Selawat upon the Prophet saw. However, I cant seem to find the first book you mentioned anywhere online, especially from Singapore retailers.. Do you happen to know of any places I can get the book? Or any videos on Youtube? Thank you so much! Ramadhan mubarak Sisters.
Waalaikumusalam sis :)Wa iyaak akthar! Which books are you referring to? We’ve linked in the resource page the two books we mentioned, directly to the store that carries it. If you’re in Singapore, wardah books at Arab Street is your go-to store. If you’re overseas, meccabooks.com or bookdepository.com should have it :) Hope that helps!Sincerely,A+F
Could you do an episode on terrorism? The recent attacks in London and Baghdad and Kabul in Ramadhan are really getting me down and depressed.
Assalamualaikum Sister,Unfortunately we are unable to dedicate an entire episode on terrorism as we feel such issues are best left to those who know more. Please don’t be depressed; everything happens by the will of Allah swt and there is wisdom behind all of His decree... we need to put on our akhirah-view glasses and make lots of du’a that He carries His decree out with gentleness, inshaAllah. And at the same time, perhaps we could channel our feelings of sadness or disappointment into positive venues like raising funds to help those in need in those countries. May Allah swt make it easy on the Mu’mineen, ameen!Sincerely,A+F
Assalamu alaykum, could I pls request that you make dua for Muslims in the UK? 3 terrorist attacks have happened this year, tainting Islam & Muslims. The atmosphere here for Muslims is of FEAR for our livelihoods. Islamophobic attacks are increasing rapidly and it's hurting the ummah, and during Ramadan! 😥 Ya Allah this is a huge test for us. I ask you to please make dua for our safety, for Allah to guide disbelievers and to guide the criminals to commit such heinous acts. JazakAllah khayr.
Waalaikumusalam sis, alhamdulillah we’ve made the du’a in one of the episodes as per your request! Jazakumullah khayr for reminding us of the importance of du’a, and we pray that Allah swt grants success and patience to the Mu’mineen, and guidance and taufeeq to those who are astray, ameen!Sincerely,A+F

Assalamualaikum. I wonder, does it make sense or is it okay/acceptable to be selfish of God's love?
Walaikumsalam dear,
Could you please elaborate a little more about what you mean by being “selfish of God’s love?”. We don’t quite understand what you mean. :(A + F
