"My thoughts exactly" Huey replied, nodding. "She will not be such a problem. She is a cold artificial intelligence, from a world that has long-since fallen into violence and chaos. She is calculated and cunning, and has already begun helping me with my experiments. she will not be a liability" the ancient alien explained. "And if Android 18 should become a nuisance, or get in your way, then you have my permission to destroy her as well. She is just a tool, after all"
Looking up, he smirked, "I'm betting you told her the same thing about me." Sighing, he waved a hand, "As you wish though. I'll deal with my side of the battle and you two can deal with yours." Pausing, he asked, "...Do you remember what is in those labs of yours?"
"They are a large number, most of whom are likely trained in combat, and likely have as great insight into the layout of that castle as I ever did. A covert operation was not likely. I have offered them a time of three weeks to leave peacefully, before I destroy them. Though from their reputation, and one of the members of whom I spoke to, I doubt they will heed my warning" Huey explained. "Android 18 is from a planet I have much experience with. She is useful and powerful, you have my word"
Glancing back to Huey, Rameses nodded. "I see...so be it then. If they wish to bring this upon themselves, let us not stop them but revel in their ignorance." He had fed rather well during the Games, so many people were in distress and the chaos was glorious. Now though...something bigger was at hand and he could feel the power thrumming beneath his flesh.
"I trust that word then...we will go and do whatever is needed. Just don't get in my way, not that I think you would, but." Sighing, Rameses muttered, "Too many times I have been stuck with those who gain a conscience when it's too late."
"Home? In truth, such a concept has little true value to me. Yes, it was my dwelling, but it was much more as well. But it was my first laboratory upon this planet, and holds some of my oldest research from numerous worlds. A storehouse of information, items, and experiments is locked in the depths of that place" Huey explained. He smiled softly in return. "Excellent. We will likely be joined by another. An android dubbing herself Android 18. She is powerful and intellegent, and will be useful"
"And I suppose you have already tried to get these items back," Rameses asked with an arched brow. "And it has been made impossible...until now of course." Laughing just once, he sat down on a plush black chair and sighed. "You are certain she will be of use? I do not need anyone getting in the way...but if you're sure." Running his hands over his teeth, they were now sharp and lethal. "...When will we strike?"
"I have come to ask for your aid, in a potential battle in my near future" Huey said bluntly. He knew of his ally's penchant for blood and chaos, and large scale combat with a gargoyle clan would require immense amounts of both. Rameses had a proficiency in physical prowess that he could not match, and having someone like him would be invaluable. "I intend to rid my ancient home of pests, a gargoyle clan which has settled there many years ago in my absence"
Rameses ushered Huey into his home before his old friend could finish his sentence. Once the door was closed, and locked, he turned to the alien, brow arched and eyes squinted. "...You wish to wipe out an entire clan just to get your home back after hundreds of years of being absent?"
For a moment his expression remained firm, but slowly his lips curled up and he leaned in to whisper, "You can count on me, Huey. What's the plan? Any strategy?"

He had made his way over to Rameses' office soon after his discussion with Demona. His message had been clear, and his threat had been blunt. There would be no confusion over his intention, and in time he would likely have to act. And while he was confident in his strength and abilities, it always helped to have aid. So he knocked lightly on his ally's door, and waited patiently for a response.
Going through some old finds of his, just old, dusty, nearly torn apart scrolls that held old, powerful magic, Rameses didn't blink at the knock on his door. In fact he just kept reading for a good two minutes before he finally folded his items away and got to his feet. Walking across his room, he opened it up and arched a brow.
"Ah, Huey. To what do I owe this pleasure?"
Since I saw Pharell I had to confess that I've been ignoring Adam Levine for the past two weeks.
Now I need to download the Covenant. 8V
Rameses did not much care for other people’s opinions. Whether this was a date, a business meeting, or a meet-up between friends, they could speculate if they had such a little brain to do so. In this part of the world he was really just a teacher but he could be so much more if provoked. Taking in another bout of silky Chardonnay, his long lashes fluttered up as Oz spoke. “Of course, I have time in my evenings to help others, though none have taken up that offer. So if you need tutoring, I am yours.” He only considered how odd the wording was after.
Sitting back, he sighed, “Defensive magic? You mean like learning how to make barriers, heal, light up a room, the basics to playing the odds in your favor? I can do that, of course.” Smiling almost smugly, he added, “I can teach you anything. For now we will focus on defensive. Choose some days where you might be free and we can set up a schedule, train from there.”
“Diva,” Rameses said once more, “Who is she to you, exactly? Family? Friend? A pest, perhaps?”
A grin that shined white in the lighting found its way to the boy’s face. At the promise of learning and the idea of him being able to control such a mysterious thing as magic had him eager. Such a thing that seemed only possible in books and those low-budget fantasy movies. Oz chuckled. “Then I’d be happy to be the first to take up that offer.” He nodded his head towards him before leaning back, his arms folding behind his head.
He was all ears as Rameses listed off all the things that seemed right with what he asked for. Protecting. Doing the protecting. It seemed right for him. “Righty-O! That’s the stuff I want to learn!” He exclaimed a bit too enthusiastically. “A—Oh, right, a schedule.” Oz thought to himself and stared off, considering. He had classes during the week, though he was sure he’d be free for lessons during the weekend. Unless Diva needed him, but this could be considered more important. “Saturdays are good for me.”
And speaking of the she-devil. Oz scratched the back of his head, his smile vanishing though still having the same light in his eyes that he did when he smiles. “Can I say all of the above?” He mumbled before laughing. “She’s technically my mum.”
"So you are my first student," Rameses murmured, "Wonderful." Smiling to himself, his shoulders lifted and fell in nonchalance as Oz continued. He supposed teaching one of the students within that pretentious school would be a good start to his career. The ones he taught at the moment were bright enough but he always liked have an...apprentice. He supposed calling it that would be no harm. Looking over, left brow arched, he replied, "Saturdays are fine. We will meet at ten a.m. and go from there until you can no longer learn that day."
That could be considered a bit frightening since he had the tendency to work for many hours straight with no end in sight. But Rameses just saw it as pushing yourself and he wanted his students to understand that. "Our first lessons will be basic but in time they will build. Be prepared."
Taking a sip of wine, he paused and cocked his head, "Mother? Odd. How is she technically your mother and why does she seem to be a bother?"
-ROLLS TO MAKE SOME POSTS-
“You mean the war,” Rameses noted quietly. “Mm, I see,” Chuckling he said, “I was in the middle of that, as we all were. It was madness, really. Tsunamis, quakes, you name it…it was madness and it was lovely.” Grinning, he said, “It’s a shame you were not here in time to study humans and creatures having fits over the changes. I believe you would have been one of the few to understand my source of entertainment.” Or at least he would have held back on shooting him dirty looks. He could imagine Huey taking everything in quietly, perhaps even asking questions or poking dead bodies.
Shaking the male’s hand slowly, he nodded, “There are over two thousand years of incidents, Huey. Many things have happened to me, I suppose you only need to ask for specific details however, recounting them all would be…exhausting.” Pulling away he said, “And what of you?”
“A war?…I was not aware it was a conflict. All I saw from my point of observation was the world being covered in unnatural disasters. Though it seems logical that such a stressful and dangerous time would raise tensions and aggression. Fear and panic do…interesting things to people” Huey replied. He nodded. It was an easy feat to recall what interests this man had. The spreading of chaos, but in a far different manner than himself. Violence and action were his tools, and he reveled in their use.
“I suspected as much. You may tell me what you wish, though for the sake of time, and the preservation of your own energy, than I would highly suggest abridging your recounting. But do not stress yourself if you do not wish to. I will hardly take such a thing personally…” the alien replied. He retracted his hand to his side once more, pacing back to his desk and gesturing to the free chair beside it for his guest.
“I have been…drifting. Studying many worlds. Many creatures. It has been interesting. Though…from what I’ve seen of these two schools, in the few days I have been here thus far, then the research I intend to conduct here may be the most interesting I have had in many years…” Huey replied, folding his hands atop his desk and staring at Rameses. While his attention was on his old friend, it was clear that his true focus had once more returned to his ideas.Â
Rameses inclined his head thoughtfully, the war had been more than just two sides facing off each other, it had been chaos, and everyone survived while trying to protect those they cared about. Well, not everyone. "Indeed," He shrugged his brows, moving through the class room he went to sit before Huey's desk, his actions slow and thoughtful. "The amount of insanity I witnessed was enough to keep me powered for quite some time. My master approved of it, then again, he approves of many things." He, himself, however, approved to a point. He enjoyed madness, liked the thrill of the moment, but the aftermath was always so messy and he was left to clean it up. Seizing the moment was difficult for him when after he had nothing left to play with.
"Well," Rameses began softly, "After Set's temple was dismantled,  I traveled for quite some time," Leaning back, brows furrowing in thought, he said, "I laid for a while. My master went missing and I simply did what I could to survive. Married several times, had children, some of which are alive, others are dead, went all across Europe, Africa, and then traveled around North America for quite some time. I never stayed in many places for long, a man who does not age is not trusted in this society. And then I found Lumeria, and an old friend, a doppleganger, he works here as well, has known me just as long as you have."
Smiling softly, he muttered, "Mmm yes. I imagine so," Leaning forward, he laughed, "Am I to expect you conducting experiments on our students? Because if so, by all means, you have my assistance." Flopping back in his chair, he said, "So is that you're only reason for being here? To study? Or is there something else?"
