           Who did he think he was, talking to him like that? Arvis spun on his heel to face the archer head-on, his astonishment as plain on his face as the red to his hair. He was Duke of Velthomer, one of the highest ranked lords in all the land; equality and equitability for all aside, there was such a thing as respect.

           "The words you pick make it sound more like you’re attempting to flirt with a pretty lady instead of like you’re trying to speak with a total stranger. This makes it twice now that you’ve managed to offend me within the last two minutes. Do you care to make it thrice??“

Whoever this bloke was, he certainly was easy to get on the edge. Judging by his gaudy outfit and jewelry... One of Desaix’s men, maybe? No, he seemed a bit too intelligent to be working for that clod. Perhaps just a noble of Rigel, unaccustomed to the ways of the commoners? Either way, the archer had better cool his jets lest the other call for his head on a platter. Honestly, it was by good fortune that he hadn’t done so already. Python gave the other a deep bow to the other.

“Soft, sir, soft... I mean you no harm, good sir. A slip of the tongue. Your attire suits you quite well, and you cut a grand figure indeed. I couldn’t help but make a foolish remark.”
