HOWDY EVERYBODY I am PIGEON. here are some bullet points as a tl;dr to the blog: • I have been roleplaying arvis since before fire emblem heroes was even announced. I remember what it was like trying to play a character from a japanese-only game from 1996 in an rpc where even most of the fandom they are from doesn’t know anything about them + when we jugdral fans had to contend with I kid you not at least 4 versions of any given character’s translated name. it was Pain™. does anyone else remember when they used to romanize sigurd as zigludo. nintendo power also called ‘genealogy of the holy war’ the ‘descent of jihad’ for some hecking reason BUT it does mean I have plenty of experience here hi • I am +21 and am only comfortable roleplaying with other adults! this is despite the fact that I will not roleplay any nsfw here. it’s just a personal comfort thing! it has nothing to do with shipping! speaking of shipping, it is very far from a priority here. word of god interviews say arvis canonically isn’t interested in girls and goes out of his way to actively avoid them, with what we see in canon being the exception and not the rule. he’s not as cold to men but he’s still pretty frosty all around so good luck with that either way • I have played every Fire Emblem game. yes this includes the japanese only ones. yes this includes the games that have remakes. for what it’s worth I’ve also played tear ring saga and berwick saga, and I own vesteria saga. my favourites are the jugdral games if that weren’t obvious by who I’m writing, but excellent runners up are the tellius and magvel series of games! I know every game’s lore and am more than happy being flexible and playing with characters from each and every game. I put the fact that I’ve played every game down as a note to say that I can adapt to whatever canon and lore your game has if you don’t want to go with a heroes/askr verse • my rules are all things I’d consider pretty basic! I do not want to interact with anyone who is racist/sexist/homophobic/etc., I do not want to interact with anyone who writes an underage character and engages in anything nsfw with them and I don’t want to write with anyone who promotes incest. that last one is a biggie. it is so sad that I need to emphasize that that last one is a biggie but like I said I’ve been playing this character for longer than heroes has been a thing and considering the things that go down in FE4 I sure have met some people here who needed that made clear 😭
