Welcome to the prosperous region of ransei! Ransei is a peninsula hidden from the public eye, famous for its varied weather (that gives name to all six of its major kingdoms) and the diversity of pokémon types that can be found. Ransei was once famous for its particular shape which resembles the mythical pokémon and creator of everything, Arceus and for offering humans and pokémon alike a place of sanctuary. Or at least, in the past has been a sanctuary for pokémon. Since the day of The Lumineers’ putsch twenty-years ago, the once free and prosperous region of ransei has been embroiled in fear and turmoil. there are whispers that not everything is lost for those against this new dictatorship as rumors that an opposition organization is on the rise, gearing up for attack. one thing is for sure - a war is about to happen. who are you in this power struggle?

since the day of the lumineers’ putsch occurred under its leader phoebe’s command, the once free and prosperous region of ransei has been in a state of flux and terror. the ideology that pokémon were dangerous creatures that needed to be controlled brought the imposition of a dictatorship. in consequence, ransei was secluded within itself and the previous democratic and pokémon-friendly laws were demolished in favor of the statute of regulation and control. now, every pokémon in the region became government’s property and implanted with a microchip for registration and tracking. however, there are rumors and reports of strange happenings out in the woods, murmurs of detractors coming together to form a revolution, hoping for arceus to come back and return peace to the region. one thing is for sure - a war is about to happen. who are you in this power struggle?
