this is no human , an imposter wearing the skin of another. for while it walks with the arrogance of yet another clueless person — a simple look into its eyes tell another story. for she merely finds another beast staring back , two carnivores stand at an impasse. what is their tale ? have they felt the sting of betrayal as she has , has he been forsaken by his own kind as well ? cooing chirps escape her , it is to offer a hand of acceptance. please , let someone else finally accept her.

it is with a cautious expression that she watches , circling around this assailant that dares to approach. he is not among the rank of goons that henry sends after her , for he is decently armored — nor does he carry a rifle bigger than he. by what reason does he draw close , for what personal gain ? a low growl gurgles up from deep within , the chattering of teeth is a glorious chorus.

the main canon divergence for this portrayal of the indoraptor is the fact that i am going along with the dropped plot line where the indoraptor was a victim of abuse / neglect by their handlers. if we go along with the idea that biologically, blue is the indoraptor’s mother via DNA splicing — then it doesn’t make any sense that empathy and bond building is learned behaviors, that isn’t how emotions work. thus, the indoraptor IS capable of forming bonds and feeling for beings around it, but the abuse it experienced caused it to become traumatized and hostile towards any humans.

in this portrayal, the indoraptor was able to escape the mansion — not willing to fight with blue just to stay in a location that would cause her further pain / distress. she has been able to evade dr. henry wu, and simply roams the earth.
