We know this can be a hard quest, especially for people with mental illnesses, executive dysfunction disorder, or neurodivergent brains.

But clean teeth are vital to your physical health and can even uplift your mental health, as a lot of people tend to not take tooth ache as seriously as they should.

Here are some ways to make it easier for you to include brushing your teeth into your daily routine *♡✧･ﾟ✧

Use a toothpaste you like, even if it's meant for kids. If you don't like the taste of your old toothpaste, change it! This can drastically change your experiences, and there are definitely tastier flavors than mint out there.

You can also use mouthwash or chew gum afterwards if you miss the fresh feeling (when using a sweet flavored toothpaste, for example.)

Use a toothbrush that is appealing to you. Either if you like electric toothbrushes (there are some cute variants out there), or children one's with nice motives

Play your favorite song atm while brushing your teeth or watch some short videos!

If you have the money atm, buy a few nice looking gadgets, like a toothbrush cup or toothpaste squeezers.

Lit a (scented) candle (for example fresh/ ocean breeze scented ones)

Use apps that are helping children to brush their teeth

Don't feel stressed to hit the 3 minute mark! Even 30 seconds or less will do the trick, and it's better than not brushing your teeth at all! You will feel better afterwards, promised.
